Whatever Happened to Obama’s Postpartisanship?
Remember Obama’s original appeal, how he was going to reach across the partisan divide to bring people together?
Well, that like so many other Obama plans and promises seems to have fallen by the way-side. When asked on Wednesday by ABC’s John Berman if he could have “done more, before the House vote yesterday to lobby for votes,” he indicated the limitations of his appeal: “I don’t think me calling House Republican members would have been that helpful, I tend not to be that persuasive on that side of the aisle.”
And he only called Democrats to get their ideas. Sounds more that he wants to head a think tank than to lead a nation.

Obama was simply acknowledging the fact that Republicans hate him an awful lot and so he wouldn’t be able to sway them at all. That’s a simple fact, not a declaration of partisan war. Please, GayPatriot, don’t go as low as Michelle Malkin by making mountains of molehills and completely and utterly twisting and warping facts. One Michelle Malkin is much more than enough.

Um, DavieG, what facts am I twisting and warping? I’m just quoting Obama. He started running as a post-partisan and he’s not even willing to try to appeal to Republicans?
And where did I say he was declaring a partisan war? Seems it’s not I who’s doing the twisting and warping?
The point of this post was to show the fraud of his supposed post-partisanship. You’ve provided neither evidence nor argument to refute that.

OT: RightBlogs finds 10 Republicans Worth Supporting. Yeah, I was surprised the number was that high, but you can donate and help these insurgent Republicans defeat the Democrats in their House races.

Obama is promising us that he is Mr. Bipartisan, but what he just said and proved is that he isn’t and doesn’t want to be, he is just blowing smoke up are butts and tickling our ears.

#2 – What is wrong with Michelle Malkin? She’s been telling it like it is.

The question actually likely pertained to Why Obama couldn’t get enough Dem votes to pass this bill.
He didn’t need to convince a single Repub. They have the majority and if they got all the dems to vote Yeah, the bill passes. 40% of the Dems in the house voted Nay. Hell, with the fool republicans who did vote for it, all Obammy had to Unite was 12 Dem votes.
He dodged the question by claiming it was the Evil Rethugulans who thwarted the Dem Majority again, and they refuse to be enlightened by his glowing intellect.
