This story is BS. NBC is not trying to verify or attack McCain’s war record, nor is anyone else. But, some extreme anti-Obama folks are claiming this, just to stir up trouble.

Look, suppose some anti-McCain nut job started circulating a rumor that McCain was on video using the N-word at a function in 1997. If they saw it a few times, some people would start to believe it. And they would be stupid to do so. Likewise, some people are starting to believe the NBC investigation story, and they are stupid to do so.

NBC preaches to the choir. None of this behavior is new. Good news is, most Americans don’t take NBC news seriously anymore. Surveys show that most Americans today believe NBC is totally in the tank for Obama. So no matter how hard they try, they’re not likely to sway anybody these days.

The Weathermen were ''an army of lovers,'' he says, and describes having had different sexual partners, including his best male friend. What a surprise; a depraved leftist terrorist who opposes monogamy and normal relationships partners up with a politician like Obama who wants to teach the same thing to young children.

Wow, what a screamer talkingpoints has turned into. While he’s Googling for that NBC reporting about Rezko, maybe he could check how many detainees at GITMO have had their limbs and extremities broken, how many have been forced to participate in propaganda films, how many have been kept in bamboo cages the size of dog crates, how many have been starved.

First, the liberal-left dumbed down the definition of torture to mean “any discomfort of any kind complained about by a terrorist,” and now they’re claiming that the far worse treatment of American prisoners by the enemy doesn’t even rise to the level of torture. What a sick bunch of depraved (expletive deleted).

Obama sat in the pews of The Right Reverend Wright’s church for over twenty years and didn’t hear any hate-filled comments or rants by Wright? Several months ago Obama made his victory tour of Europe giving speeches as if he was President of the United States. Gwen Ifill has a book coming out on January 20th with the title, “The Breakthrough, Politics and Race in the Age of Obama.”………..and, she is moderating tonight’s debate. Again, torrentprime, you expose the problem; Obama screams about “torture” elsewhere and argues that the Bush definitions are wrong, but then tries to invoke them as an excuse for his claims that John McCain was not tortured.

How do you know they didn’t investigate Obama in Chicago? Because an anonymous tip said so? Because Rush said so? Because you want to believe they didn’t? Or because they didn’t find anything, and you are so convinced he *must* be guilty that it didn’t happen? (Faith-based journalism, I guess)

And ND30, I notice you didn’t link that, but I will make note that under the Bush definition of torture, John McCain wasn’t “tortured.” He was subjected to enhanced interrogation techniques. So no one is saying that McCain wasn’t brutally treated in Vietnam. The sad part is that, according to Bush, it wasn’t torture. If you don’t like that analysis, complain to Bush, not Obama.

#1 Come on, the media is trying to prove that McCain really wasn’t tortured. One of the ex Communist guards said he doesn’t remember McCain being beaten.
I think it was NBC who sent a reporter to remote Alaska to report on whether you could actually “see” Russia from Alaska as Palin claimed. After flying for hours burning gallons of fossil fuels, the NBC reporter found that there was a remote island with no hotels, no restaurants, no street lights where you could actually see a Russian island from Alaska. But don’t think the media won’t stop searching for Palin or McCain “lies”. The issues are critical. Any doubt, ask the MSM.
