She’s a typical Libertarian-leaning Conservative.

There are many people who have strong convictions regarding morality but who do not want to legislate on that basis.

Palin has no history of doing this.

For as smart as the Left portrays itself to be, and as they think themselves insightful they have a knack for finding infinitesimal facts to support their bigotries. but will never allow anything to change their minds.

Note, also, that she left that church because the pastor had become, in her words, “too extreme.” Contrast that to Obama, who apparently sat there in a pew for 20 years, yet never heard a word Wright said — until he couldn’t avoid it.

Watch for Ayers to be next thrown under the bus, now that Obama has been forced to admit he was lying. “That’s not the Bill Ayers I knew.”

So what do you care? I doubt that’s going to be a defining opinion to get people to vote for her and, when it comes to policy, I can’t see where that will come into play.

She does preach tolerance, but the very definition of tolerance is quite different from acceptance, is it not? I could be wrong, but this is what I observe. I’ll continue to reac from various sources to make sure I have a more informed opinion.

I don’t mean to imply the everyone MUST be accepting of LGBT persons, but it does seem to be a good goal to strive for regardless on either side of the aisle.

But now matter, she has attended certain Churches, so of course she must agree with every statement made by the clergy.

Obama on the other hand was an active member and gave very large donations to Trinity Church. He appears in the church bulletins with some very unsavory people. But hey, he didn’t know what was going on, so of course he gets a pass.

MSM is making me sick these days, I really shouldn’t be surprised, they will sell their own narrative no matter what.

Did Sarah Palin sit in her church for 20 years while its pastor railed against the United States? No. Did she write a book and give it a title inspired by a sermon from a racist, America-hating preacher? No, she did not. Did she donate tens of thousands of dollars to this church? No, she did not.

Interesting insight into the leftist mindset, courtesy of Brendan. Peaceable assembly to redress the grievances against the Federal government is equivalent to violent terrorist acts. Attending a church where those who think homosexuals who want to change should be given that opportunity are allowed to speak is equivalent to having a close relationship with a racist, demagogic, pastor who spews hatred against the United States.

Do you apply the same principle to Obama’s attendance to Rev. Wright’s church? Is “God Damn America” really any different than the founder of the secessionist party in Alaska (a party Sarah Palin’s husband belonged to) who believed “The fires of hell are frozen glaciers compared to my hatred for the American government.” Of course, I am certain if Michelle O’Bama belonged to a group who expressed the latter belief everyone here would be defending her rights to free assembly and right to constitutionally petition the federal government for change.
