State By State, Fraud By Electoral Fraud

Please note that I have updated this post, adding links discovered since first posting it.

In my post on the complicity of Democratic officials in vote fraud, I addressed problems in just one state. As I began work on a larger post, exploring how such chicanery could help Obama steal the election, I realized I had such a wealth of information, it would be easier simply to list the stories state by state, providing links to the relevant articles.

You’ll note that most sources are local papers and news stations or blogs, few are national media or the leading dailies.  That is, while local media and blogs are covering this, the national media is downplaying it or downright ignoring it.

New Mexico

New Hampshire

North Carolina

Remove Connecticut and Texas and the list above reads like a list of the swing states in this election.  Will the media notice how widespread is this fraud?

UPDATE:  Jim Hoft has uncovered more examples of fraud that those linked in this post.  Check out his pieces, first on his own blog and then on Pajamas.

  1. Because, V the K, they honestly believe that their lying, cheating, and stealing is justified as long as it gets them into power, because they are “helping the poor”.

Democrats care about the poor in the same way that terrorists care about their hostages.

  2. It’s disgusting and all involved should be prosecuted fully. It also points out the absolute insanity of having different methods of voting in different states and the appalling shape of state’s computer systems. No one should be allowed to vote without a state issued picture id, and I know it’s the left that fights this as well as pushing for last minute registering. In CT if a voter leaves town their name’s cannot be removed from the list unless the town is notified they have registered somewhere else. But, the new towns aren’t obligated to inform the old one and it’s more confusing if it’s another state. A truly functioning registering process would be able to catch a duplicate social security # being entered.

It seems that the Dems would be very stupid to be behind something like this especially considering how much of a problem it’s been in the last to Pres elections. It certainly does set up the right for perfect whining points if the election should go against them. Of course, anyone who claims that the Repubs haven’t pulled the same crap in one way or another is just a liar.

Unfortunately for our AG, who use to partner with ACORN on foreclosure forums around the state, it’ll be all about window dressings and little about meaningful prosecution. (The AG wants to be Gov in 2010)

The report is that these various states have issues with ACORN over voter registration efforts on that organizaitons part.

One question comes to mind as to why the list you proffer does not include Colorado, where ACORN is reputed to have enrolled tens of thousands in this ‘battle-ground’ state.

Would the reason Colorado is not listed have anything to do with the fact that the current Secretary of State is a {HORROR!} Republican?

    Comment by Kent — October 15, 2008 @ 9:06 pm - October 15, 2008

  30. NJ elections officials aren’t sure they can process all the new registrations in time so some people may get provisionals.

But it gets better than that:

Voters whose names do not appear in the books are entitled to use paper provisional ballots. The provisional ballots are counted after officials verify the voters are registered.

Voters can also go to a judge on duty in each county on Election Day to ask for an order that would allow them vote on a machine. Lawyers from the state, political parties and the American Civil Liberties Union will be on hand to help resolve disputes over whether people are registered.

In many counties, some new voters’ forms will not be processed in time to get them in the main books, but they will be included in supplemental listings. County officials will be able to confirm they are registered through these listings and allow them to vote in the booth.

  32. I haven’t read all the comments or all the web links but of the first two that I checked there are problems with both. It was 3,700 people registered from vacant lots, not 37,000 in the link.

Also the link about more people registered in Franklin county than exist was dated 2004 if you go to the source.

I think you are right about ACORN but these mistakes don’t serve to help that cause.

    Comment by Jim — October 14, 2008 @ 2:54 pm – October 14, 2008

  34. I am wondering if you covered voter fraud so vigilantly back in 2000 when the election was stolen in Florida.

I agree with you: ACORN is clearly guilty of voter registration fraud and should be prosecuted to the fullest extent. Let’s, however, not forget that Katherine Harris, former Florida Secretary of State, prevented tens of thousands of legal voters from voting in that presidential election.

This is much worse than the voter fraud that exists by ACORN. It would be an unlikely scenario that this organization will go and vote illegally tens of thousands of times using false names. I assume the fraud is being committed more to make profits — I think the company earns money for each person it registers.

  39. I love you and am right on board with your belief that ACORN’s shenanigans are endemic, systematic, focused and likely done with the complicity of Democrat party officials. However, the story you reference as 3,700 registered Columbus voters list vacant lots as home doesn’t really say that. Living in Memphis, I am well aware of the common phenomena of people listing parking lots, parents’ homes or even grave yards on their voter registration as residence, but the article to which you linked addressed folks who had properly listed their address at time of registration and were subsequently removed due to foreclosure. The article does address 3700 of these addresses as now being “vacant,” but not “vacant lots.” I tend to believe that that the potential effects of foreclosure on the voting public is being exagerated, since for these voters there are alternative ways to verify their registration (SSN and/or DL#).

Bottom line: the linked article does not say what you purport and does not bolster your argument. I’m on your side, but also believe in fair representation.

  40. Remember if Obama wins none of these people will be investigated. The FBI inquiry of Acorn will stop and we can be sure that in 2012 it’s likely that in most states with a democratic Secretary of State no republican will meet the registration requirement for candidacy in the presidential election.
