State By State, Fraud By Electoral Fraud

Please note that I have updated this post, adding links discovered since first posting it.

In my post on the complicity of Democratic officials in vote fraud, I addressed problems in just one state. As I began work on a larger post, exploring how such chicanery could help Obama steal the election, I realized I had such a wealth of information, it would be easier simply to list the stories state by state, providing links to the relevant articles.

You’ll note that most sources are local papers and news stations or blogs, few are national media or the leading dailies.  That is, while local media and blogs are covering this, the national media is downplaying it or downright ignoring it.

Connecticut

Florida

Georgia

Indiana

Iowa

Michigan

Minnesota

Missouri

Nevada

New Mexico

New Hampshire

North Carolina

Ohio

Pennsylvania

Texas

Washington

Wisconsin

Remove Connecticut and Texas and the list above reads like a list of the swing states in this election.  Will the media notice how widespread is this fraud?

UPDATE:  Jim Hoft has uncovered more examples of fraud that those linked in this post.  Check out his pieces, first on his own blog and then on Pajamas.

  1. Just saw a “opinion” piece over at the Guardian.uk where some asshat is blaming Republicans for lying about all these instances. He claims the only reason these stories come to light is because the vigilant ACORN makes it public.

Oh and some of his sources are the sub-fecal BradBlog and MediaMoronsWhoDon’tMatter.

  3. Some Obama shills are repeating the talking point that this is no big deal because it’s only voter registration fraud, not actual vote fraud. This is BS.

    1. Filing a false voter registration is a felony.

    2. ACORN wouldn’t be filing thousands and thousands of false voter registrations if they did not intend to use them on Election Day, or to cast fraudulent absentee ballots.

    3. Obama’s campaign gave ACORN $800,000.

    4. Because of a provision slipped into the law by Barney Frank and the Democrat congress, anyone who takes out a mortgage in the United States is now obligated, by law, to donate to ACORN.

That’s why this is a big deal.

You’ve got a 7 year old registered in Connecticut, 30,000 felons registered in Florida, not to mention that 66% of those registered in Florida by ACORN are already registered. In Indiana, the first 2,100 out of 5,000 registrations turned in by ACORN were found to be bogus. And do we need to go over the Dallas Cowboys being registered to vote in Nevada? [...]

  12. Dan, while it’s important to document what ACORN is doing to enable voter fraud for Obama, here in Michigan, ACORN was also instrumental in the mortgage meltdown mess.

For 3.5 years ACORN-Detroit and ACORN-Flint were teaching people how to use the courts to thwart foreclosure proceedings, pressing law enforcement officials to resist serving foreclosure notices, working with state legislators to waive passed-due property taxes for homeowners and holding public forums to teach people how to protect other assets in debtor/collection lawsuits and use the CRA, HUD, MSHDA and FHA to secure added financing.

Meanwhile, at most of those public forums, ACORN was requiring attendees to provide name, addresses, phone numbers, past residential addresses, etc to register for the event(s). When you registered for the event, you got a nice tote bag filled with goodies including cigarettes, coupons for free Pepsi products, toys for kids, coupons for McDonalds, etc. Hard not to register and give up the information when ACORN is giving away goody bags.

In essence, ACORN is building a database in which to gather key information relevant to commit widespread voter fraud and the people registering to learn how to avoid foreclosure didn’t even know it.

In senior apt communities, where they are few -if any- homeowners, ACORN works with the apt staff to gather seniors together with their absentee ballots and actually helps “instruct” them how to fill out ballots and then carries them to the local clerk’s office. All under the guise of helping homeowners become “mortgage savy” while HUD helps finance these community advocacy group outreach efforts. ACORN has argued that it’s ok to spend HUD monies this way because if a renter’s landlord goes into foreclosure, the renter loses his/her home.

BTW, as someone who’s worked on Voter Integrity Programs in the past, I can tell you that vote fraud is real and it is the best-kept secret by MSM today. I’ve literally watched and filed hundreds of complaints on Detroit residents voting 3-4 times on a single election day, Democrat clerk staff and volunteers coaching feeble voters how to cast the correct, pro-Democrat vote and watched ACORN volunteers sign-up Obama rally participants to use that data to enable further voter fraud.

Out of the 620 precincts in Detroit, Voter Integrity Program volunteers can cover about 35 precincts on Election Day –leaving 95% open to gross abuse and all of the absentee ballots unchallenged.

It’s incredible. And only exceeded by ACORN’s role in the mortgage meltdown mess –and how information from both programs are cross pollinating corruption. I guess it’s the change we’ve been waiting for?

    Money quotes:
“(It’s important to note that in many of the recent ACORN cases that have gotten the most attention it’s ACORN itself that has turned the people in who did the fake registrations.) ”

“But here’s the key. This is fraud against ACORN. They end up paying people for registering more people then they actually signed up. If you register me three times to vote, the registrar will see two new registrations of an already registered person and the ones won’t count. If I successfully register Mickey Mouse to vote, on election day, Mickey Mouse will still be a cartoon character who cannot go to the local voting station and vote”

Also please note, that if someone fills out a registration card even if it is fake ACORN BY LAW must submit it.

  32. Hey OutliciousTV
    You are right.
    It IS outrageous.

ACORN is screwing itself by paying for duplicate and bogus registrations. Especially when its NOT POSSIBLE for those bogus people to vote.

So yes, complain to ACORN that they are wasting the money.

Maybe ask your local senator to CHANGE FEDERAL LAW and allow them to throw out obvious forgeries

    Comment by gillie — October 14, 2008 @ 3:34 pm - October 14, 2008

  33. If you register me three times to vote, the registrar will see two new registrations of an already registered person and the ones won’t count.

Not if, as ACORN does, you do it in three different precincts.

Then on Election Day, you simply take your three registration cards, go to three different precincts, and cast your vote three times, signing your name three times.

No one knows if you’re who you say you are, since Democrats oppose requiring ID to be shown at the polls. No one can prove you voted three times, since precincts don’t record photographic evidence. Furthermore, even if you were caught, they can’t invalidate your ballot, since they don’t know which one it is.

Furthermore, given that voter registration fraud is already a crime and ACORN still commits it en masse without worry of punishment, Marshall’s desperate argument that criminals who will already commit registration fraud won’t commit voter fraud because of the punishment doesn’t make any sense.

    Comment by North Dallas Thirty — October 14, 2008 @ 3:36 pm - October 14, 2008

  34. Maybe ask your local senator to CHANGE FEDERAL LAW and allow them to throw out obvious forgeries

    Nope.

Instead, do as every other business does and hold ACORN liable for criminal acts committed by its employees while carrying out their assigned duties.

Then hold the people like Obama who train these criminals and teach these criminals how to fill out fraudulent registrations responsible.

So when investigated BY REPUBLICANS, these “voter fraud” anecdotes don’t hold up.

    Comment by gillie — October 14, 2008 @ 3:54 pm - October 14, 2008

  37. Too reinforce ND30′s point, there is a telling absence of ACORN registrations here in Arizona where you actually have to prove your identity to vote. I’d be interested to see if that same trend is evident in other places that require ID.

    Comment by Hunter — October 14, 2008 @ 3:55 pm - October 14, 2008

  38. Notice how the “expert” that gillie quoted believes that requiring people to prove their identity before being allowed to vote is “onerous” — despite the fact that, to receive Social Security or welfare, drive a car, cash a check, purchase cigarettes or liquor, and hold a job, one has to provide identification.

Why can ACORN “hire” all of these people that they hire, given that ACORN and its goons argue that none of their people have identification and that it’s too much of a hassle to get it?

Furthermore, this so-called “expert” argues hilariously that the penalty for fraudulent voting will stop people from doing so — despite the proof that the penalty for fraudulent registration does nothing of the sort.

Finally, we now know why Democrats demand a paper copy of every ballot be given to their person; they collect it outside the polling places to make sure their fraudulent voting operatives voted correctly.

    Comment by North Dallas Thirty — October 14, 2008 @ 4:10 pm - October 14, 2008

  39. In Nevada, it was ACORN themselves who told the board that they suspected some were fraudulent

LOL….that was what ACORN claimed. But then again, ACORN also claimed that the entire Dallas Cowboys starting lineup had moved to Nevada and wanted to register to vote.

Why not condemn ACORN’s criminal activity, gillie, instead of making excuses for them? Is it because you know Barack Obama trained and taught these people? Is it because there is video of Barack Obama supporting and endorsing this group and its tactics? Why are you incapable of admitting that voter fraud is a crime, and that voter registration fraud as committed on a grand scale by ACORN and its supporters like Barack Obama is a crime?

    Comment by North Dallas Thirty — October 14, 2008 @ 4:15 pm - October 14, 2008

  40. Finally, here’s the hilarious part: gillie and his fellow liberal Democrats insist that CEOs be held personally accountable for anything bad that happens at their company, but insist that ACORN never under any circumstances is responsible for what it trains and orders its workers to do.

Right. According to gillie’s silly logic, if a company’s workers release toxic chemicals into the environment, the company can claim that it had nothing to do with it because it was only its workers — and that, as long as the company reports it, it cannot be punished or held criminally liable.

ACORN is a criminally-negligent organization engaging in rampant voter fraud, with the full encouragement and support of the Barack Obama campaign. Like V the K noted, gillie is completely unable to admit that what ACORN is doing is wrong and that fraudulent voting and voter registration is a Federal crime.

    Comment by North Dallas Thirty — October 14, 2008 @ 6:05 pm - October 14, 2008

  52. It’s disgusting and all involved should be prosecuted fully. It also points out the absolute insanity of having different methods of voting in different states and the appalling shape of state’s computer systems. No one should be allowed to vote without a state issued picture id, and I know it’s the left that fights this as well as pushing for last minute registering. In CT if a voter leaves town their name’s cannot be removed from the list unless the town is notified they have registered somewhere else. But, the new towns aren’t obligated to inform the old one and it’s more confusing if it’s another state. A truly functioning registering process would be able to catch a duplicate social security # being entered.

It seems that the Dems would be very stupid to be behind something like this especially considering how much of a problem it’s been in the last to Pres elections. It certainly does set up the right for perfect whining points if the election should go against them. Of course, anyone who claims that the Repubs haven’t pulled the same crap in one way or another is just a liar.

Unfortunately for our AG, who use to partner with ACORN on foreclosure forums around the state, it’ll be all about window dressings and little about meaningful prosecution. (The AG wants to be Gov in 2010)

    RE: One Possibility

The report is that these various states have issues with ACORN over voter registration efforts on that organizaitons part.

One question comes to mind as to why the list you proffer does not include Colorado, where ACORN is reputed to have enrolled tens of thousands in this ‘battle-ground’ state.

Would the reason Colorado is not listed have anything to do with the fact that the current Secretary of State is a {HORROR!} Republican?

  80. NJ elections officials aren’t sure they can process all the new registrations in time so some people may get provisionals.

But it gets better than that:

Voters whose names do not appear in the books are entitled to use paper provisional ballots. The provisional ballots are counted after officials verify the voters are registered.

Voters can also go to a judge on duty in each county on Election Day to ask for an order that would allow them vote on a machine. Lawyers from the state, political parties and the American Civil Liberties Union will be on hand to help resolve disputes over whether people are registered.

In many counties, some new voters’ forms will not be processed in time to get them in the main books, but they will be included in supplemental listings. County officials will be able to confirm they are registered through these listings and allow them to vote in the booth.

  82. I haven’t read all the comments or all the web links but of the first two that I checked there are problems with both. It was 3,700 people registered from vacant lots, not 37,000 in the link.

Also the link about more people registered in Franklin county than exist was dated 2004 if you go to the source.

I think you are right about ACORN but these mistakes don’t serve to help that cause.

    Comment by Jim — October 14, 2008 @ 2:54 pm – October 14, 2008

Nah, that fraud is by lefty pollsters and reporters; you know, the kind who had Kerry winning in all the exit polls in hopes of convincing Republicans who hadn’t voted that it would be futile to do so.

  84. I am wondering if you covered voter fraud so vigilantly back in 2000 when the election was stolen in Florida.

I agree with you: ACORN is clearly guilty of voter registration fraud and should be prosecuted to the fullest extent. Let’s, however, not forget that Katherine Harris, former Florida Secretary of State, prevented tens of thousands of legal voters from voting in that presidential election.

    http://www.buzzflash.com/interviews/2002/11/04_Palast.html

This is much worse than the voter fraud that exists by ACORN. It would be an unlikely scenario that this organization will go and vote illegally tens of thousands of times using false names. I assume the fraud is being committed more to make profits — I think the company earns money for each person it registers.

  89. I love you and am right on board with your belief that ACORN’s shenanigans are endemic, systematic, focused and likely done with the complicity of Democrat party officials. However, the story you reference as 3,700 registered Columbus voters list vacant lots as home doesn’t really say that. Living in Memphis, I am well aware of the common phenomena of people listing parking lots, parents’ homes or even grave yards on their voter registration as residence, but the article to which you linked addressed folks who had properly listed their address at time of registration and were subsequently removed due to foreclosure. The article does address 3700 of these addresses as now being “vacant,” but not “vacant lots.” I tend to believe that that the potential effects of foreclosure on the voting public is being exagerated, since for these voters there are alternative ways to verify their registration (SSN and/or DL#).

Bottom line: the linked article does not say what you purport and does not bolster your argument. I’m on your side, but also believe in fair representation.

  90. Remember if Obama wins none of these people will be investigated. The FBI inquiry of Acorn will stop and we can be sure that in 2012 it’s likely that in most states with a democratic Secretary of State no republican will meet the registration requirement for candidacy in the presidential election.
