It’s not quite as pathetic as McGreevy playing the gay card to get out of his NJ corruption scandal, but it’s still pathetic.

If we want to be equal, we take our lumps like a real man or a real woman. Retreating behind “homophobia” whenever they’re criticized debases the concept and makes the rest of us look like whiners.

All of Congress is running away from the disaster that they created with the current economic credit crisis. They all point their fingers at Wall Street greed. Of course Frank won’t resign from his committee chairmanship, neither will the Charlie Rangel, the chairman of the Ways and Means Committee who has underpaid his income taxes. Frank is playing the gay card, which I think is the first for a congressman and Rangel is untouchable because of his race.
