BTW, I think the 95% reflects the fact that only 5% of Americans earn more than $250K.

Is it $250K again? Biden said $150K and Comrade Obama used $200K in his infomercial. Which is it?

What's more, does anybody REALLY believe those will be the only ones affected by his punitve tax increases? Really, blake? Really?

Personally, I loved the way Megan Kellye threw it right back in this doofus's face. Gotta love strong conservative women!

And is it just me, or is this guy biracial like Obama? Just wondering.

Don't forget, 100% of us will get tax increases when the Bush tax cuts expire. I don't make a lot of money, but they've made a difference in my pay check. So no, I don't believe there will be any tax cuts.

"I think the majority of voters won’t be too happy with what they’re going to get with Dems in control of the White House and both houses."

I think the majority of voters won't be too happy with what they get no matter what happens Tuesday. Where we are now ain't getting fixed overnight and neither candidate can perform miracles. Both will be beholden to the party bosses with what's good for the people of this country on the bottom of their todo list.

Um, blake, you don't answer the question of the post or address the issue of how you cut taxes on people who aren't paying them since as many as 44% of Americans don't pay income taxes.

And, in other news, John McCain admits that Barack Obama is not a socialist:

I am definitely hoping for a great night for the GOP next Tuesday. By that, I mean McCain elected with the majority of the popular vote and no victory in an ultra-close state essential to his electoral vote victory (i.e., no repeat of 2000), minimal losses in the Senate (i.e., NM, VA, and AK---bye, bye Stevens, you #&*#!), and no net loss of House seats---maybe even a slight gain. That's about the best we can hope for and yet I disagree with anyone who thinks such a scenario is impossible. Sure, Bush is unpopular, but so are the Democratic leaders in Congress. We're running a war hero with a record of reaching out to people on the other side while they run a guy with little experience doing anything besides writing books about himself, hanging out with controversial friends, and voting hard left. The GOP brand may be hurting, but it ain't like the Dems are shining stars themselves these days. I don't believe the hype from the media. They have a horse in this race, so of course they'll try to make us give up. Polls are all over the place. Why assume anything?

Even so, Tuesday could be a bad night for the GOP. Obama could win big and Dems could pick up dozens additional seats in the House and a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate. It's possible. As horrible as that would be, there is a silver lining: the Dems have given us no evidence that they know how to do anything but attacks their critics. That's all they've done the last few years. It's certainly what they've done since the 2006 elections. And this interview is a good example of this. What will happen to them once there's no one to stop them? With respect to the promises Dems have been making about how wonderful America will be if they can enact their plans, the Dems have been writing checks their butts can't cash. I see no indication that the Dems have any real desire to lead. If they did, you wouldn't see Bill Burton waste his time bashing Fox News instead of explaining why people should trust Sen. Obama. Attacking critics has become so much of a habit for these folks that there's no way they'll be able to suddenly stop and concentrate on getting things done.

It's best for America that the GOP doesn't do badly this year. But if they do have a bad election day this year, they better get ready for 2010 and 2012 because I think the majority of voters won't be too happy with what they're going to get with Dems in control of the White House and both houses.

Um, Jack, but did Bill Burton address the charges leveled against his candidate or just respond by bashing.

Seems you're guilty of the same thing. I ask a question in this post. You respond by bashing Fox.

Fair (?) and balanced (/) Fox News deserves all the bashing it gets.

Now that Bill O'Reilly, who used to be pretty objective, has joined the bash Obama bandwagon, Fox News is one long McCain promotional piece from 7 p.m. CDT 'til Greta signs off at 10 p.m. Alan Colmes gets a few minutes to take the other side but in recent weeks is constantly interrupted and harassed by TV's major empty suit, Sean Hannity.

I never watch the "lineral" alternative, MSNBC, because I can't stand Chris Matthews, Keith Oberman, et al, but I will give them credit. They don't pretend to be an objective news network.

Wow! I love the idea posed by Burton that Obama's tax plans are "crystal clear." Would that be more like "transparent"?

Fox News reports and you decide. Well, if you are in the tank for Obama, why watch Fox News? The MSM tank has schools of Obama fish. Their clown fish are particularly good at taking on Sarah Palin's wardrobe. So why watch Fox News where the news sharks report on substance and raise issues that are AWOL in the MSM?

Obama is a "transformational" figure. He will transfer tax dollars from those who pay taxes into welfare checks for those who don't pay taxes. And then he "transforms" the redistribution fact into a "tax cut" for the poor lie.

Trick or Treat! And what earthly right does Fox News have for calling it like it is? They must be racists.
