If Obama is a new kind of politician, committed to change . . .
. . . how come all these Washington, D.C. Beltway insiders keep up lining up behind him.
Doesn’t seem they have much fear that he’ll shake things up in our nation’s capital. Indeed, seems they think he’ll be sending more power their way.
Is that the change the American people are looking for?

2 thoughts: I watched PJTV and wish Dan could be more relaxed. (I know, this is the post Brownie Camera age, but really Dan must have been photographed since he was a couple of hours old, … and try smiling, gently smirking…)

I think a lot of Californians are going to be confused as which is “yes” and which is “no”. But that is just me.

Reminds me of the quip “If Obama is the answer, it must have been a pretty stupid question.”

I am struck that so very, very few Obamunists can actually articulate any way that his policies (reheated leftovers from the Carter Era, for the most part), will be good for America. Indeed, most of the cult portrays their support for The One as a repudiation of Bush and conservatives. A few others deny his actual policies will be as radical as the agenda he has laid out or that his history would indicate. Those very few who assert that the One will be good for America can only cite that his election will be a symbolic repudiation of racism, and finally atone for slavery. Firstly, that seems unrelated to whether his regime will provide good policy, and second, it overlooks the reality that The One is not descended from slaves.
