Will Joe Biden Please Explain what “Girl-Boy” Is
Last month in Reno, Nevada, Sarah Palin quipped, “The most looming crisis that threatens Obama’s campaign right now is Joe Biden’s next speaking engagement.” That threat might be greater if the media paid as much attention to Biden’s gaffes as they do to hers.
Just this morning in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, the Democratic Vice Presidential nominee said:
My sister is smart, runs every one of my campaigns, is beautiful. Graduated with honors from college. Is homecoming queen, but shes a — she is what I call a girl-boy growing up, you know what I mean? And I tell you what. Girl-girls are tougher than girl-boys. But theres one important thing I noticed.
Huh?
What’s this guy saying? Can anyone parse this and tell me what he means?
Is a guy who says such things fit to be a heartbeat away from the presidency? Why isn’t this less newsworthy than Palin’s comment about being able to see Russia from the state she governs?
With comments like this, you’d think Democrats would be rushing to vote for John McCain because they question the competence of Barack Obama’s choice of running mate.
Finally, if Sarah Palin had spoken so strangely about gender, the national gay organizations would be lining up to attack her, demand an apology and use it as proof of her bias against gay men, lesbians and transgenders.

My name seems to change depending on what browser I use, but I’m not the David above. There’s nothing remotely offensive towards LGBT people in his statement. My nieces when they were younger both insisted that they were not girly-girls preferring to be rough and tough. You’re really reaching for things to be critical of. Time to stop mudslinging, you’re not changing anyone’s mind at this point. All it does is make you look b$tchy and you’re better than that.

I swear Palin would never get away with saying anything like that, but Biden gets a pass. My guess is he meant Tom Boy but I am curious about this whole girly girls being tougher. That seems like a weird generalization-or maybe it’s just Biden being Biden and we will never know.

Joe Biden, earlier today: “I never make any big, big gaffes. I mean, you guys love saying that about me, but I tell you what, just look at the numbers. I don’t have any problem with what I’ve said and there’s nothing I’ve said that I would back off of.â€

maybe not, but it is offensive to women- since when do we have to be referred to as girl-boy or girl-girls.
Since Biden went to Law school and is oh so bright, why didn’t he just say Tom-boy. Why does he get away with mangling the English language, and all you can do Dave is to tell us to stop whinning.
Guess what, we’re sick and tired of being lectured to by you lefties – that what we thought we heard we didn’t. That our bright intelligent Sarah is really a dummy.
So we will keep pointing out to you how dumb your vice presidential candidate sounds – since so one in the MSM will.
And please don’t be patronizing and pat me on the head and say that this is beneath me. After two years of this crap from the left – I guess I’ve just sunk to your level – you should actually be proud.

Dave, Leah is an accepted and respected member of the GayPatriot community.
It’s only liberals like yourself that seem to hate educated, intelligent women with a mind and opinions of their own.
The reason you hate Leah is because you can’t control her. You can control liberal women by your forcing them to accept your way of thinking or admit that they as mothers support killing their own children.

Gee, what a surprise more conjecture from NDT that is 100% wrong. I don’t hate Leah and I don’t hate intelligent women. The only person I need to control his myself. Do you ever tire of being wrong?
What I do hate is constant whining about the left while giving a pass to the voices of putrid bile on the right. What I do hate is seeing anyone ignore or deny the LARGE NUMBER of people in the Republican party who think LGBT people are sick, evil animals and a threat to society.
I don’t despise Palin, I despise the fact that she was chosen to appease the people in the paragraph above and she has said nothing to indicate she doesn’t think just like them. “I don’t judge” while doing exactly that doesn’t cut it. It may make y’all happy but you can’t be bothered to look behind her words because she has the right political believes.
I hate the fact that YOU warp and twist what everyone who disagrees with you says and then report it as fact and the people on hear accept that. It is ignorant behavior. I hate the fact that you dismiss the majority of the LGBT communities for the actions of a few.
