I would like to point out, though, that AIDS wasn't actually recognized until 1981 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aids#History), so the funding for research would have been non-existent before his time in office. Nancy's decorator friend Ted Garber and his partner Archie Case. And many people don't acknowledge that funding for AIDS research increased dramatically during the Reagan administration, though the left-wing monolithic anarchists choose to overlook it. Reagan was much more gay-friendly than people choose to believe. Heck, one of their best friends and frequent visitors to the White House was Merv Griffin. And the Reagans -- as well as all of Hollywood -- were aware, and accepting, of their friend Rock Hudson's homosexuality long before his death of AIDS brought it to public knowledge. I just wanted to share that. This is my first time visiting the site (clicked over from Michelle Malkin's blog, I LOVE her!!) and I intend to make this a daily visit.
