Not to defend the “mainstream” media or anything, but it wouldnt hurt if Republicans would actually summon the nerve to actually mention what a lot of lying cheating stealing criminals Democrats are every once in a while.

The GOP’s defeat in 2006 was largely because of the Democrats continual banging of the “culture of corruption” drum, over I believe 2 congressmen, one lobbyist to whom they all had ties as well, a creepy gay lech, who was hitting on adults mind you, and phony, fraudulant indictments brought against Tom Delay by a Democrat hack who was the only one acting in a corrupt manner in the matter.

So two real cases of corruption, one bi-partisan corrupt lobbyist, a creepy but not illegal lech, and phony charges….and Democrats use it to get back in power.

I could name at least 10-20 cases of real corruption on the part of Democrats who are still sitting in Congress, and one on his way to the White House, and Republicans are too scared to say boo!

Sometimes I really could throttle those people.

Well I agree with V the K-democrats have a completely different set of rules and the MSM has bought into that difference. Just look at the coverage the Foley scandal got in comparison to Mahoney, or shoot Dollars in His Freezer Jefferson compared to well, just about any republican with ethics or legal issues.

Livewire, I understand that. I guess my point was that the Verizon folks will probably be swiftly and justly fired for what they did, while an even more egregious breach by a government will go essentially unpunished.

An interesting comparison will be to see what Verizon does to it’s employees that accessed Obama’s phone records without permission. So far they have been suspended.
