I gotta say, I have noticed a disproportionate number of Obama supporters (still wearing the damn button a month later) who are generally crass, rude, and uncouth. Obviously flaky messages appeal to such folks.

Ugh, what ever happened to manners? Too often today people feel free to just express a bad, impatient attitude. I have seen a couple of people, African-American, wearing Obama tee-shirts with his photo since his election. Frankly, I just have to scratch my head and ask myself why…………….I still wish Obama well. On January 20th he will be my president.

I think if you do make it a point to let people know you’re a member of the Obama Cult, it’s fair for those outside the cult to consider your behavior as indicative of the whole. (Especially if other Obamamoonies who comment in various fora tend to be obnoxious.)

It goes to my thinking that airplanes are now just flying buses and airports the bus stations. They are filty places now with very interesting travellers.
My first incident with Obama behavior was in a grocery checkout line the day after the election. One of his consitituents was making sure that he was so slow in the line that anyone behind him was furious. I got the feeling then that we are in for a lot of this behavior for the next 4 years.

Honestly, I think it really is fair to judge strong Obama supporters by the behavior of people who wear Obama T-shirts in public in non-political environments. These are the people who are the very core of Obama’s social constituency; if they don’t want their actions to reflect badly on Obama supporters as a whole then they shouldn’t go around wearing their party ID on their shirt.

Similar thing happened to me on Election Day. Driving to work, I was cut-off by a douchebag with an Obama sticker on his bumper. Later, at a gridlocked intersection, a nice lady with a McCain-Palin sticker let me in front of her.

You can’t judge Obama’s supporters or make some prediction of what life might be like under his administration because of one rude bitch on an airplane who happened to be an Obama supporter.

The other night I was having dinner at a country club out-of-town. I was parked in a handicapped space right in front of the club house. When I came out to leave I found a car parked behind me, blocking my way. I had to have him paged to come out and move his car. He didn’t apologize for my inconvenience but in fact was quite rude because he felt inconvenienced to have leave the bar.

The fact that he had a McCain-Palin bumper sticker on his foreign-made car doesn’t reflect on the millions of other McCain-Pailin supporters. This rude uppie just happened to be a prick. No more, no less.

There may be a day when this “lady’s” behavior surprises me, but it’s not in the foreseable future.

On another note, I’m too cheap to buy a magazine. I usually read what’s on board. In the Marines, we chalked this up to “lesson learned.”

I hope at least the flight attendants were good lookin’.
