A Reason to Question the President’s Judgment

Appearing on Face the Nation on CBS this weekend, Vice President Joe Biden “explained that before he agreed to become Obama’s running mate, he said, ‘I don’t want to be on the ticket unless you are hiring me on for my judgment.’

I would question the judgment of anyone who hired Joe Biden for his judgment.  I thought Obama had picked the then-Delaware Senator to make himself looking sober and seasoned by comparison.

  1. Agreed entirely – I never thought much of Biden personally.

  2. wow, you’re really starting to look desperate now.

tell ya what. why don’t you go take a nice, long bubble bath, followed by a long, refreshing rest. spend a few days away from the media and your politically-minded friends. take a few deep breaths. then, maybe, you’ll be able to think more clearly.

  5. Joe Biden has an abundance of judgment. However, being judgmental and being correct are not synonymous. Perhaps we are looking for good or excellent judgment? On that scale, Joe is mostly blow and short of know.

  6. Say Boob, I wonder if you can explain why Biden was told TWICE by liberals that he wasn’t good enough to be POTUS, but now he’s good enough to be one heartbeat away. I ask you because I’ve been asking liberals about this for months. None seem to be able to begin to answer the question.

I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you stow the gear necessary to answer.

  7. TGCpartner told me that he heard Biden was offered either V-POTUS or SOS. I must have missed that. If true, doesn’t sound to me that Chairman Obama was THAT inspired by Biden.

  8. Well, with the rapid change we are getting and BHO’s approval numbers “normalizing” in one day (something like 75% on day one to 61% on day 2) all I know is I got my loins girded Joe….bring it on!!

  9. TheGayConservative:

just b/c biden didn’t win the nomination doesn’t mean people didn’t think he was prepared to be president. he never won enough votes to be the party’s first choice, but that doesn’t mean people didn’t think he was ready. i know these logical deductions are probably making your head spin, so i’ll just leave it at that.

and seriously…did someone from the party that put SARAH FRICKIN’ PALIN one heartbeat away from the presidency just say that?

the commenters on this sight are absolutely delusional. if it weren’t so entertaining i would find it frightening.

  10. Yes bobbie,

Heaven forbid that someone with executive experience and no history of anyurisms come within a heartbeat of the highest executive position of the land.

You have no idea what you just said, do you?

if it weren’t so entertaining i would find it frightening.

You might be entertaining if you didn’t drool all over yourself and smear your shit everywhere.

  13. lemme break this down for ya, gayconserv:

voters sometimes think that multiple candidates are capable and/or ready to be president. a voter can only vote for one person. therefore, just b/c biden didn’t win the primary, this does not mean that (dem) voters thought he was inadequate for the job.

    tough stuff, i know.

  14. #13 – Boob, let ME break this down for you:

Biden got an average of 3% of the primary voters in all states where he was on the ballot.

That means 97% of all Dhimmicrats thought he was NOT fit for the office.

Does that make the 97% who voted against Biden all wrong?

    Try again.

    Peter H.

um, wrong. that means 97% of democrats preferred someone else for the office. there is a distinction, sir.
