But wait…oh yes, that’s right….Republicans aren’t currently the majority party in either chamber. At least Obama was professional and gracious enough to meet and talk with Republicans (and he will clearly continue to do so). That’s a big change from the “screw you” attitude Republicans gave the Democrats when the tables were turned.

I do hope the liberals (in this blog) regroup with something to defend “THAT ONE’s” spend & tax policy.

Now that THAT ONE’s “CHANGE” is coming to light, I only wish we could see the “HOPE” for the generations ahead that survive their gestation period.

Now the “I turned up the heat after telling everryone we shouldn’t” and the “Lets celebrate by buying $100 a pound steak” That’s a sign of being ‘above the little guy’

Now the democrats want to help the little guy

The problem with that is that y’all SUCK (sweaty donkey balls) at it. From public schools to the never ending “War on Poverty”, to inner city a-holes like Detroit & New Orleans, I could go on and on with examples of how liberals who “want to help the little guy” historically have made things much worse.

Not to mention the fact that it was the liberal desire “to help the little guy” that contributed to the housing kerfuffle.
Besides, nobody here buys the bullshit line that you actually “want to help the little guy”. You want them crushed under your heal in grinding poverty, be thankful for it and vot democrat.

How could anybody, with the common sense God gave the earthworm, believe that little statement? What have liberals done that actually helped anybody except themselves?

Millions of lower income families were removed from the tax rolls due to Bush’s tax cuts “for the rich”. You assholes have bitched, in a round-about way, for the last 8 years that they should be added right back on. Not to mention the incessant whining that we should all “sacrifice”. What happened to that grand idea?

But its worse than that. What dems are really saying is “I want to ‘help’ you by making you financially dependent on me with money I stole from your kids.”

How would you respond to such an offer. Think long and hard before you answer.

And they’re honest, in the sense that they never waver from that belief and that all their posts are in line with that. Whether or not you can call that in any way intellectual is another matter entirely.

In short, do you have an intellectually honest bone in your body?

Unemployment remained at double digit levels throughout his entire administration. He was popular because he stole from the rich and gave to the poor. As they say, when you rob Peter to pay Paul, you can count on the support of Paul.

He was re-elected because the country was united behind him in the war.

This also happens to be exactly the reason Democrats who overwhelmingly voted to support the Iraq war based on their own assessment of the intelligence turned 180 degrees and tried to pretend they only voted for the war because they were lied to (as if it wouldnt be GROSS negligence to vote on matters of life and death because someone else told them to) — because they were desperately afraid that a success in Iraq would mean Republican dominance for years.

We here at this blog have constantly faulted the GOP for not staying true to its fiscal conservative roots.

Helping the little guy? Hardly? This puts the burden on the “little guys” of the future by paying money to those who tax bills were reduced to nothing by a Republican president and Congress.

Well, torrent, maybe the Republicans learned why they lost our majority. So, now that the Democrats are doing what the Republicans did, but at a much faster pace, all you can do is bash the GOP?

Your party’s in charge now. Hold them accountable. And check the archives of this blog, going back at least to early 2006, we’ve been giving our party heat for its profligacy. Will you do the same?

Actually having the majority and the White House and being able to, you know, spend the American people’s money didn’t show them to be all that (ok, at all) fiscally disciplined. But the moment they can’t actually affect a cent of money – well, then, they are just rocks of tight-fisted accountability.

In it’s obvious effort to get votes, the Dems are willing to spend our children’s future to maintain power. Fortunatly, I’ll be long dead before I get to see what they have wrought.
