I drove through South Dakota several times and Tom Daschle never jumped out and bit my tires. I stopped at Wall Drug and bought a Coke and I noticed other people drinking Cokes, so I guess Daschle must be OK.

If you pay your taxes in order to take a huge pay cut by accepting a government job, you must be as pure as the wind driven snow. Good heavens, there is plenty of wind driven snow in South Dakota, so Daschle must be next to the Virgin Mary when it comes to purity.

It would be wrong to deny this good man a seat on The Community Organizer’s planning committee. This is no ordinary functionary. He is a key part of the “solution.” Always remember that the millstones of the gods grind slowly, but ever thoroughly. We can not afford amateurs feeding our economy into the millstones.

V the K these are the people so far that we know about. Remember Gov Richardson the hispanic was sent packing back to NM. I guess it’s ok to be a crook as long as you aren’t a Hispanic crook. Are we lovin these liberals yet? If you were a MSM “journalist” you could spend weeks on “special reports’ detailing this kind of corruption in one party. You could create one whole network to rail against this kind of illegal behavior. Think the MSM will? Crooks , creeps and dummies.

VtheK, it is change you can believe in. When the Republicans have a corrupt politician, they get rid of him. The Dems are saying to us: screw you.
Our politicians are much more corrupt, but we’re keeping them – there is change for you.

Also, little folk, go on, pay confiscatory taxes, it’s all for the good of your ‘elected’ officials. They deserve so much more than you do.

Daschle’s wife funnelled $500K into the DNC from the airlines which killed Algore’s Airline security plans. Want to find out what else the Daschles could kill with cash?

Better yet, could you explain to me why it should be up to Uncle Sugar to decide who gets to live and who gets to die in this country?

Tiny Tom is up to no good. How is it that so many Democrats don’t pay their taxes? They sure are happy to empy our bank accounts, but God forbid they pay what they owe. The jerk at treasury, now dashle, rangel, blago, dodd (of the favored mortage rates), jefferson, and the list goes on and on. As San Fran Nan said, “the most ethical congress in history”. Most ethical my ass. 2010 is coming faster than the Obamunists realize.

I grew up in South Dakota, and I’ve always liked Daschle. He visited my mother’s high school class, which I thought was nice. I also met him once when I was working at Borders–he bought a Dylan CD. So, I guess I have to support him.

I read in the WSJ how he is a big proponent of communized healthcare, and he says we ought to pass it quickly in a very broad bill so that the public doesn’t know what is being passed. That’s kind of like what is happening with the stimulus with 10 million new people–including Wall Street bankers fired in the credit crunch–being eligible for medicaid.

So after Obama nominated Dashle Sec Health and Human services he “discovers” he owes over $100,000 in back taxes. An “oversite’, an “honest mistake”….ooops that one’s been used already. hehe. How bout that flawless Obama vetting process eh? Let me ask….would it just be easier for us to ask who in the Obama cabinet ISN’T a TAX CHEAT?
