And that isn't just my partisan politics talking--the Republicans must have NO participation in this debacle because in addition to being a horrible plan for America, it also has a disgusting fail-safe built-in so that even after it fails, the liberals can blame Republican IDEAS for its failure (even if only one Republican votes for it). Obama redefined "welfare payments for people who don't pay taxes" as "tax cuts" during the campaign, so his plan is to blame "tax cuts" when the whole thing falls apart just so he can stay in the White House. So, the plan isn't just destructive of the American economy, but also a vile effort to turn "tax cuts" into some loony discredited Republican answer to a sputtering economy. Tax cuts have worked EVERY TIME, but if Obama can convince 51% of America that the Pork Fest failed because of "tax cuts" we "couldn't afford," then any Republican effort to throw the bums out with an economic plan containing REAL tax cuts will be crippled. The liberals know that what they are doing is wrong and doomed to failure, but they're going to do it anyway because they know what's best for us "little people."
