You aren’t calling for Obama’s impeachment and removal; instead you’re making excuses and spinning, as we should expect from a spineless liberal like yourself.

And as for discriminating against white people, the Obama Party, the Obama administration, and its advisors have publicly stated that they want to keep jobs from going to white males.

Levi, one question… in the recent election then, exactly which group was dupped by Obama and his ilk?

Republicans, probably. Here you guys were arguing all year that he was some radical socialist that was going to free all the terrorists and ‘wave the white flag of surrender’ in Iraq, and what do you know? He’s continuing Bush’s policies. You really couldn’t have been more wrong on that score during the campaign.

Undoubtedly there are some bandwagoners on the liberal side, those people have probably already tuned out by now. But if you were a liberal and the issues of torture and state secrecy ever mattered to you, you most likely knew what you were getting with Obama. He might change things, he might not. The door isn’t totally closed on whether or not he can change these policies, and as time goes by and we learn more and more about what happened during the Bush years, the pressure for him to start reversing course and launching investigations should increase.

But yeah, I’d say the Republicans were the biggest suckers. Didn’t we go through that Jeremiah Wright firestorm because he was going to start discriminating against white people?

Be honest — how many ‘on the left’ blogs do you actually read? Criticism of Obama is pretty common if you bother to take a look. At the very least, no liberals are cheering these sorts of practices on, which is exactly what you guys did when Bush implemented these policies over the past few years. Obama is abusing his power and he is violating people’s rights, just as Bush was. But there’s still a chance that he can be pressured into reversing course on this sort of nonsense, and there are real efforts underway by liberal and progressive groups to begin applying that pressure.

What sounds like hypocrisy? I don’t see any liberals rigorously defending Obama on this issue, do you?

And if “anyone that didn’t fool themselves about who Obama was saw this coming,” then that is a good enough reason to reinstate literacy and IQ tests for potential voters. Unfortunately, for the Dhimmicrats and their opposition research team in the MSM, that would mean fewer votes for their party.

I voted for the guy expecting him to do these sorts of things. It’s not like I had an alternative — as a liberal my only voting strategy is keeping as many Republicans out of power as I can.

While I’ll admit there are quite a few people that got wrapped up in Obama and put their total faith in him and defend him at every turn, that sort of behavior isn’t nearly as widespread or intense as the behavior exhibited by Republicans towards George Bush for the bulk of his Presidency.

No it doesn’t. Obama is just as wrong. I have no problem saying that — these are extra-Constitutional powers that Bush has grabbed and that Obama is retaining, and it’s just as criminal for Obama to break these laws as it was for Bush, too.

I’m not surprised this is happening, either. Obama made it clear he wasn’t going to make any real stands on any of these policies during the campaign. It’s disappointing, to be sure, but anyone that didn’t fool themselves about who Obama was saw this coming. I’d just as soon give the government back to the Republicans for the next four years if this is how it’s going to go.

Now the One wants the gummint to maintain everyone’s medical files and nary a peep.

But much was made several days ago about three states, including Nebraska, who in so many words wanted nothing to do with the stimulus bill. Well, Nebraska’s Whig (or Know Nothing) governor, who refused to support or oppose the bill, has announced that he’s ready to spend all the money the state can get from the stimulus package.

It has happened in every modern presidential administration. A candidate does not have access to the secrets. Once an incoming president is briefed on national security secrets reality kicks in and some promises made on the campaign trail fade away.

I wonder why?
