He is never wrong.

I doubt he was counting on an incompetent boob (no, the one in the WH) taking advantage of White Guilt and surrounding himself with the staggering incompetence of the Clintoon administration.

Thought I'd add a link to Buffett's letter. Interesting and, in places, entertaining.

#4: Erik - are you saying that Obama has been out talking up the economy when we weren't listening?

From Warren Buffett's (an Obama supporter) Letter to Shareholders released today:

By the fourth quarter, the credit crisis, coupled with tumbling home and stock prices, had produced a paralyzing fear that engulfed the country. A freefall in business activity ensued, accelerating at a pace that I have never before witnessed. The U.S. – and much of the world – became trapped in a vicious negative-feedback cycle. Fear led to business contraction, and that in turn led to even greater fear. Emphasis added.

Obama hasn't missed a chance to stoke the fear.

Obama is pessimistic on private enterprise, an optimist on government enterprise.

Reagan, Clinton, Bush were the opposite, optimistic on private enterprise, pessimistic on government enterprise.

That’s the difference you're seeing and feeling.

The liberals have been trying to convince the American people that we're in a depression for the last 8 years. One has to conclude that that's what they want.

Chairman Obama's campaign theme was America SUCKS!. He's done nothing, since taking office, to inspire anyone. The market tanks everytime he opens his blow hole.

One also has to wonder, as Tom Pawlenty did at CPAC today, how you can be for jobs but oppose business. How can a president hope to create jobs while punishing the small and mid-sized businesses that provide them?

As Bradley Schiller pointed out, Obama's Rhetoric is the Real Catastrophe.
