#4 you got to be kidding. Microphone placement? I love the troops. Obamateleprompter has already vowed to cut military spending. He will slash defense spending by a third like Carter and Clinton before him. He will weaken the nation. It will be once again left to a Republican to repair the damage. The troops know it. Remember 80% of the troops vote for the Republican election after election. Obamateleprompter promised a pay raise for the troops. The troops know they’d rather have a few buddies alongside when in the trenches. This tape redifines the word “smattering”. That’s how much applause he got from the soldiers. The President should stick to giving speehes to the losers of our society. The ones who ask for a new kitchen and a new flat screen tv. The ones who faint at the meer mention of his name.
Guess what #7. I love the troops too, and don’t need a yellow ribbon on the back of my car to prove it. I love them especially when they are properly armored and equipped. Guess that money the Republicans are always touting is very well spent. Lining the pockets of private contractors I suspect.
I love them especially when they are properly armored and equipped.
Which Dear Leader voted against, repeatedly, in the senate, against giving our troops the funding needed to arm and equip them. Dear Leader also is looking to gut the Defense Budget to pay for his subsidies to ACORN and such.
Inlookout:
Given that you love us so much (“especially when they are properly armored and equipped”), I imagine you’re full-throatedly screaming about Obama’s plans to slash our budget, right? Right?
Don’t forget Obama’s endorsement and support of blatantly anti-military bigot groups who attack our soldiers, vandalize recruiting stations, and pass city resolutions branding them as “uninvited and unwelcome intruders”.

#8 “libs love the troops too”….as they vote to cut the budget for defense. The proof is in who the troops vote for. Not socialists, not the fake patriots, not the faux tears for their suffering. He is currently being sued by those troops. “libs love the troops too” huh? And no Democrats or the leftists in this blog ever condem John F ing Kerry or the likes of John Murtha. Instead they lie, and say they support the troops. Not with funding, not with donations to their families, but with empty words.

Where’s the defense of the President. Like when a lot of Obamateleprompters nominees for Commerce and Treasury were identified as tax cheats, creeps or just unethical…there don’t seem to be the usual suspects around to support the leftist view. Humm interesting. Let’s hear the full throated leftist defense of the troops, defense spending, support for their families, and increased spending on weapons to keep us free and the troops safe. I won’t hold my breath. I use to think Geithner was another of Obamas boobs, but the press finally reports that Geithner is all by himself over at Treasury, because Obama can’t quit partying and traveling long enough to appoint helpers who can survive the nomination process.

You and your clown car of comrades support the men and women wearing the military uniforms, you just don’t support their mission.
But here is the difference: The all volunteer military join up without reservation in regard to the mission. The elected President of the United States is the Commander in Chief, but he can not command respect. That is something he has to earn. When he had 58 million people who did not vote for him, there is a lot of work to be done on his part to earn that respect. Saying “I won” is not a very auspicious beginning. Telepromptering about the country blaming everything on the past eight years is nothing short of chicken sh*t.
Your crowd hung Iraq and Gitmo around Bush’s neck like an anvil and you cast him as a BushMonkeyChimpHitler who was way short of reaching stupid. The military was another political tool used by Bush and Rove to leverage electoral success. How could they possibly care about the troops, given their behavior during the Iraq war? They didn’t send enough people in to do the job properly, they didn’t know anything about the country they were sending them into, they didn’t arm them properly or have enough linguists, they didn’t develop any sort of plan for occupation or an exit strategy, they took 3.5 years to alter their strategy, they voted against pay raises and shortening deployments, they let wounded soldiers languish in decaying hospitals, they let their contractor buddies overcharge soldiers for laundry, and on and on and on….
The troops were nothing more than a prop for these guys. But yeah, keep this up. George Bush was a great war hero celebrated by all, that’s your ticket back to power.

Kevin, the link you provided proves that Obama DID vote against a war funding bill in 2007. The bill was to fund the war effort and Obama voted against it. The excuse that Obama only voted against it because it didn’t contain a date certain for mandatory withdrawal doesn’t make it better–it’s WORSE. It confirms that Obama was one of the idiot Senators trying to blackmail the President into agreeing to a pull-out date (to satisfy his lunatic, marxist base) by holding up funds for the war. We now have confirmation that the pull-out dates the Democrats were proposing would have been a disaster and would have precluded the surge which has been successful. This doesn’t prove Obama gives a cr*p about the troops. It proves that his leftist, anti-war politics were more important to him than ensuring that the mission would be successful and that the soldiers had not gone to Iraq, been injured or lost fellow soldiers in the effort, only to see losers like Obama legislating their defeat at the same time. This doesn’t vindicate your messiah–it proves what a useless, unqualified hack he is and how unworthy he is of the title of CIC.
Fact Check is funded by George Soros. They have Zero credibility. Again, it’s another example of the Cult rallying to protect Dear Leader from criticism, and telling us that all that opposition to funding the troops that Chairman Zero built his campaign on never really happened.
#28: “Perhaps the money should have gone to more armor, uniforms, etc for our troops instead of paying Haliburton (or its subsidiary dujour) to install faulty wiring that has electrocuted our soldiers at our bases.”
Go away, Kevin. For every dollar that was spent on artillery, you bitched about Iraqi refugees and the absence of infrastructure and rebuilding efforts. For every dollar spent on infrastructure and rebuilding, you bitched about Halliburton’s war-profiteering. And for EVERY SINGLE DOLLAR SPENT ON ANY OF IT you bitched about how it could have been better spent on armies of self-esteem administrators for the public schools, windmills to power more windmills, free abortions, needle-exchange programs for HIV-infected heroin addicts, college classes for incarcerated multiple murderers, and sex education programs for 5 year olds.
Yes, the context is key. The socialist-in-chief was merely using the military as window dressing for the cameras. They weren’t supposed to applaud. (Probably because the handlers figured they wouldn’t applaud anyway.)

This is getting good. I’d match up Julie the J against any whiny drama queen anyday (hello, Kevin and inlookout). Make it a cage match and charge admission.
Heck, put it on pay-per-view and we could probably cut the deficit! 😉
Did anyone notice that the Messiah broke his biggest campaign promise? The Chosen One had promised to send home one brigade a month from Iraq. In his Camp Lejeun (SORRY FOR THE bad spelling) the Marxist/Redistributionist in Chief said the opposite and that no troops would be coming home in 2009….notice how the MSM conveniently missed that story…..and when he said troops will more likely start to be home more like 2010 and of course let’s not forget that he is now cutting the military budget as he redistributes funding to his socialist/Marxist needs.
My beefs with Bush is that he didn’t go into Iraq using the Powell Doctrine of over whelming forces and he should have never disbanded the Iraqi Army (things would have been far better along) However I do credit Bush for not listening to dumb ass Jim Baker and Lee Hamilton and instead being smart enough to listen to Condi Rice who discovered the “clear and hold” doctrine and she was scoffed at by Congress when she pushed for it…that led to General Petraeus (again sorry for the bad spelling) methods and now Nobama is cutting Petraeus off at the knees again by not giving him the troops he will need in Afghanistan..but then again the Marxist in Chief will follow the stupidity of the Soviet Union in its stupidity of its control of Afghanistan.
We need not add that the Military will be stripped down again ala Bill Clinton and of course national security never mean real energy independence gone for good by not adopting the all of the above approach of McCain/Palin (well McCain screwed up by not pushing for Anwar and his dumb ass approach to cap and trade) and of course the all of the above approach of T Boone Pickens.
Fasten your seat belts….we have just begun….Marxism lives..as has been said, who knew that the Communist Chinese would have more respect for capitalism then the US of A now the land of Lincoln and the first Marxist President….
worse yet if the Marxist in Chief gets 8 years….I am not surprised in the least..I have referred to him as the Marxist in Chief since the campaign…I remember Sarah Palin being mocked for calling him the Redistributionist in Chief….one thing for sure is The Chosen One is no Commander in Chief…..here is hoping the military and our country survive it all..but we shall…..we always do……

Watch the video; you’ll notice that during Berry’s visit, a handful of uniformed people ARE applauding politely while the rest are not. This can also be seen on the Lejune page; very few applaudeing. This indicates to me that people CHOSE their heartfelt response in both cases. Even the CNN guy comments on the “tepid†response.
My sympathy and prayers go to all who wear a uniform.
Well it can’t be all that bad since the liberals and Chairman Obama want the EXACT same thing for all Americans. Right?
How about answering my question?
This is getting good. I’d match up Julie the J against any whiny drama queen anyday (hello, Kevin and inlookout). Make it a cage match and charge admission.
Heck, put it on pay-per-view and we could probably cut the deficit! 😉

Maybe the soldiers heard about Dear Leader’s plan to make them pay for treatment of war injuries with their own private insurance. Wait to support the troops, Obamamoonies.
Fasten your seat belts….we have just begun….Marxism lives..as has been said, who knew that the Communist Chinese would have more respect for capitalism then the US of A now the land of Lincoln and the first Marxist President….
worse yet if the Marxist in Chief gets 8 years….I am not surprised in the least..I have referred to him as the Marxist in Chief since the campaign…I remember Sarah Palin being mocked for calling him the Redistributionist in Chief….one thing for sure is The Chosen One is no Commander in Chief…..here is hoping the military and our country survive it all..but we shall…..we always do……
#40 – Rocket, remember during Operation Enduring Freedom how libtards like Code Pink etc. used to chant “let the soldiers turn their weapons on their COs” and “Kill Bush” and other such nonsense?
Well, wonder how they’d react if we said the same thing about our current CIC. It boggles the mind how crazy they’d get.
I mean, crazier than they are right now…which is certifiable at best.
Funny how you don’t see them targeting recruiting centers and ROTCs on campus, even though Count Baracula is using THE EXACT SAME M.O. right now in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Hypocrisy, thy name is liberalism.

Peter H.
Well said Peter..well said…..I like that…Count Baracula…LOL….but vampires may not like being so mocked….Code Pink has gone Code Silent…along with the MSM and crazy leftist bloggers and of course let’s not forget “Move On.org” who are dead silent on the issue….what no protests and claims of impeach Nobama as they wanted to with Bush?
#42 – Thanks, Rocket. I tried calling him “Count Chocula” but Baracula is just as good if not better.
You are correct – the lying libtards of the left have gone silent. Por que?
Answer: they are all hypocrites. Enough said.

Peter H.
Peter, they’re not hypocrites,
Their beliefs and MO remain the same. Power “By any means” in that, they’re frightenly consistent.
