The Reflexes of (Some of) Our Critics
While Ivan Pavlov’s studies of the digestive systems in mammals led the Russian scientist to a discovery about canine reflexes, my post referencing his experiment helped confirm one of my observations of the reflexes of some of our critics.
I noted how some on the left react to gay conservatives in the same manner that Pavlov’s trained dogs react to a dinner bell. The canines drool. The leftists hurl the same insult. When I mentioned that observation, not one of our critics faulted those who have such a narrow-minded reaction to gay people who don’t subscribe to the gay political orthodoxy.
They all were quick to justify the name-calling. It’s one thing to disagree with our ideas. It’s quite another to ascribe our political views to some kind of psychological disorder.
It would be nice if those who spent so much time on this blog could at least acknowledge that we’re not self-hating.  I mean, why do they spend so much time on a blog where, they believe, self-haters post on a regular basis?
Just a thought.

To express their own hatred. To put down others.

Does ignorance count, perhaps?

Well said! I’ve mentioned here before that any post on even a seemingly moderate blog that goes against the liberal agenda brings on a whole parade of name-calling, swearing and most recently, I have been “encouraged to die.” I am more than willing to have a civil discussion with people I disagree with. Hell, I’m friends with some people I disagree with. Adults agree to disagree. I prefer to be an adult.

Unfortunately, the desire, much less the ability to articulate in intelligent dialogue escapes the majority of liberals, much less gay liberals. It is easier, and requires less mental ability to simply call names and discount an intelligent conversation to dialogue. It is the opposite of “homophobic” that gays use to discount intelligent heterosexual dialogue. I am amazed at how closed liberal gays actually are; however, I enjoy your blog in light of the intelligence it demonstrates. And I am just a heterosexual Native American. It is the same problem that Natives face when they discount Caucasians as just being “White.”

Because, GPW, these leftist liberals have spent their entire life arguing that their sexual orientation compels them to vote for the Obama Party and support leftist causes.
If you make of political and ideological affiliation anything other than a compulsion produced by sexual orientation, you would have to answer why, for instance, being gay means you have to support unlimited abortion, high taxes, government takeover of corporations, Marxism, and the other things that are part and parcel of the Obama Party.
It’s no surprise they try to make those who demonstrate that it isn’t a compulsion out to be mentally ill. Our existence challenges the very root of their worldview.

#6 – Well, ND30, we all know that liberalism is a mental disorder!
