Media Sent Teams to Wasilla to Investigate Palin
Can’t Afford Intern to Google Obama’s Relatives
Welcome Instapundit Readers!!
When the mother of the ex-fiancé of the daughter of the former Republican Vice Presidential candidate has a drug problem, it makes the front page of Yahoo!, yet when the half brother of the Democratic President of the United States is denied entry into the United Kingdom because he has been accused of sexual assault, the American media ignores it.
Wonder why they’re only interested in stories of gossip and gaffes involving Republicans. Guess it’s just not a story when Democrats (or their family members) do thes same sort of things which generate headlines for the GOP.
Ah, recall the good ol’ days when the dispatched whole teams to Wasilla, Alaska to dig up dirt on Sarah Palin and they can’t even spare an intern to do google searches on Democrats.
Wonder why that is.
FROM THE COMMENTS: Kcom, one of our readers offers an explanation:
The facts also support an alternative take, i.e. that the media is surprised and considers it newsworthy when a Republican does something like that but take it as a given that Democrats are corrupt, drug-using, sexual predators who routinely commit felonies.
And why report a story as unremarkable as that.

I get your point. Liberal media bias. Who knew?
Try typing “obama half brother”, you get more hits. CNN, Vanity Fair, FoxNews, Telegraph UK.

Chuck, try asking Il Douche if you can see his college transcripts.

Don’t worry. The MSM isn’t finished with Sarah. Conservatives4Palin.com have a news story up re: a probable “hit piece” the NY Times are doing about her. We already saw the guy ask a question at her Good Friday open presser. Conflict, doncha know, between her and the legislature, etc.

I don’t want to know about Obama’s half brother, I want to know about THAT ONE, the 20 year membership in the Trinity United Church of Their Christ, the real deal with Rezko, Ayers teachings and writings with THAT ONE, and the execution style murders of gay members of THAT ONE’S ex-chuch after before and after the November election.
I want to know about his mother’s role in his life and his childhood from someone other than himself.
Because, there isn’t a word THAT ONE speaks that I believe, nothing, zilch, nada, nichts, null.
I feel the same way about 95% of democRat politicians and at least 40% of the Republicrats as well.

I’ve got to ask again, why is the moderate and conservative media left to talk radio and FOX News alone. It seems in a free capitalist country like ours, someone would prosper by creating another alternative media. After all most nights FOX News programming triples the viewship of CNN and MSNBC.

I will trump this one….my own Boston Globe(soon to be ex) sent three reporters to Alaska to dig up dirt on Palin during the campaign…..three miles from their front door Obama’s auntie was living off the taxpayers dime in public housing as an illegal alien.
Beat that!

I SOLVED THE MEDIA BIAS PROBLEM. I cancelled my print media and cable subscriptions. I feel better than I have for decades. I encourage all who read this message to cancel, at least until 2010 elections are over.
TAKE AWAY THEIR MEGAPHONE. It’s easy.

The answer is very simple. The MSM knows that their fellow Democrats are corrupt bereft of moral values, so they´re only doing what comes naturally to them. So it´s not newsworthy in their eyes. Republicans have, on the other hand, taken the high road and do emphasize moral values, so when a party member, or somebody close, deviates; that´s news!

That is true what PJ says about the Boston Globe and “Auntie” and they wonder why when they call for me to subscribe that I tell them how dishonorable they are and have been and with a son serving in the military that I want to help put them out of business.
These idiots that make up the MSM as disgraceful, whatever happened to just report the TRUE FACTS and let people make up their minds?
We are not sheep, and the proof is in the loss of money and veiwership for these companys.
I just don’t get why they do not care and leave their ships to flounder and sink.

TGC,
You have me confused. Are you using the word Douche as in douche bag? If by using the italian definite article ´il,´ are using to mean leader like Mussolini, then it would be il duce. Io sono un italiano.
Comment by Roberto — April 13, 2009 @ 7:13 pm - April 13, 2009
I think DOUCHE BAG is a good description of it.
Comment by EDinTampa — April 13, 2009 @ 9:36 pm - April 13, 2009
Roberto — it’s a play on words. He’s both comparing Obama to Mussolini AND calling Obama a douche.

I would like to say that I have heard more than enough about Sarah Palin, her family, her family’s baby daddies, the babydaddy’s family and anyone connected to Palin in any way. Enough already. Why is she still in the news (outside Alaska, I mean)?
I’m not interested.
