President Want to Halt “Rise of Privacy”

April 13, 2009 by GayPatriotWest

So he just said in his remarks at the Department of Transportation about the successful rescue in the Indian Ocean.

If George W. Bush had said this. . . .

Privacy…Piracy… I suppose they are both about the same to President Obama.

LOL. Was the Teleprompter of the US unplugged? I honestly believe that POTUS does want to STOP the “rise of PRIVACY.”

The collective needs submission, not privacy!

I still do not understand how this jackanape got elected. I am still wondering when the collective American conscientiousness is going to come out it’s media induced stupor and revolt against this travesty!

#4 – There are some people on the left side of the aisle who would call you an Uncle Tom, Oreo, NWA or some other epithet for even daring to go against The Snob.

And they are supposed to be the tolerant ones? Sheesh.

So he spoke the truth, he wants to eliminate our privacy. MSM as usual will ignore, they won’t even call it a gaff – since he doesn’t have any of those.

I don’t think there’s anything heroic about some well-trained snipers backed by the entire US Navy killing some teenage black kids on a rowboat. I think this is like white LA cops beating blacks to death. I don’t think Capt. Phillips is a hero for facilitating the deaths of kids young enough to be his kids. I think that a nonviolent way of handling this could have been found–seriously, they couldn’t have had a diver come from beneath and tip over the boat? I want to see Rev. Wright’s response to this–and that’s not snarky or sarcastic. I would like to see how the radical black community responds to a black president slaughtering impoverished Africans.

Okay… That is funny, and yes… Dubya would have been lambasted for it.

So where are all the people fretting that we’re “just creating more pirates?”

We all switch words around. I’ve seen dozens of mistakes on front-page posts on this website, so don’t get all excited.

Bush’s mistakes were mistakes of profound stupidity – when he messed up, it was because he didn’t understand definitions of words or certain political concepts.

[Yeah, but Levi, I don’t have a teleprompter to guide me as I write. 🙂

Amazing how quickly you leap to criticizing W. And no, most of his mistakes were not of profound stupidity, just troubled syntax. –Dan]

Did Obama have a teleprompter when he said this today?

Proofreading is infinitely easier than delivering public speeches anyway.

It’s pretty obvious that what you guys are trying to do with these types of posts is minimize Bush’s innumerable public speaking disasters, which I’m sorry, consisted both of more humorous syntax errors and internationally embarrassing demonstrations of total ignorance. Just YouTube any of his press conferences or exit interviews for proof of both.

And it’s pretty obivious again, that you give President Obama a pass when he is ‘stupid all over my TV set’, but your hatred of anyone who doesn’t believe as you do gives them a pass.

We all make mistakes. Obama saying ‘privacy’ instead of ‘piracy’ is an understandable speaking slip-up. Should I start posting George Bush’s greatest hits to demonstrate the difference between misstatements and unrestrained idiocy?

No need Levi, your own posts do that just fine.

I just find it sad really, you keep saying that people are idiots ‘all over my TV set’ and yet you constantly ignore or make excuses for President Obama’s gaffe’s.

Dan, you deliberately misquoted him. He said, “… Somalis acting under the guise of piracy –which is at once casual and insidious….”

I’m sure that’s what Obama really said… if you’d just check with the teleprompt operator.

    sarc/off.
