If more gays were like GayPatriot, they’d probably have a better shot at all of the goodies they want.

  3. I like to think of “GayPatriot” as a collective rather than an individual anyway!!

  4. Then Bruce should change his username to 1 of 5 and Dan can be 2 of 5.

  5. Unless we’re ranking by # of posts, then I am afraid Bruce gets knocked to 2 of 5 :-)

  6. A conservative collective? That’s an intriguing oxymoron. If you were reading your Ayn Rand, you’d not only be taking all the credit, you’d be stamping us into the dust beneath your feet! :)

  7. Yup – civil rights, equality under the law – those are “goodies,” all right. Treats, trifles, presents – that kind of thing. At least they didn’t define the actions of those conservatives who do vote for these things as “tossing us scraps”.
    LOL

  8. #7 – No, tp, “tossing you scraps” is what the DNC does to the gay community every day of the week.

Remember, liberals like you for WHAT you are. Real Americans like you for WHO you are.

  9. and Dan can be 2 of 5.

  11. Yup – civil rights, equality under the law – those are “goodies,” all right.

You ARE treated equally under the law. Every person in America has the right to marry an adult of the opposite sex. What you are demanding is that your sexuality be treated equally under the law. And homosexuality and homosexuality are not equivalent. All reproduction is done by heterosexual means, NO reproduction is done by homosexual means.

For crying out loud? How old are you? And you still havent come to terms with your sexuality! Instead demand that everyone else in the world lie to you about it.

    Get professional help!

  12. sorry, that should read heterosexuality and homosexuality are not equivalent.

  13. AmericanElephant, other than your statement that heterosexuality and homosexuality are not equivalent (and I’m not disagreeing here, I’m just not sure what you mean by it, more on that later), I have not seen even the staunchest liberal disagree with your other comments.

We are all well aware that we can marry someone of the opposite sex, with the usual restrictions on the degree of family relationship, and age of the persons to be married, all which differ from state to state. Now some states also allow same sex marriage.

As to the “equivalent” statement, you follow that up with facts about reproduction. Is that what equivalence is reduced to? Does this mean an opposite sex couple in their 60s are equivalent to same sex couples? And that these relationships are not equivalent to heterosexual couples that are fertile? All reproduction is done by fertile couples. NO reproduction is done by means with infertile couples.

Yet we not only allow, but encourage marriage between infertile persons.

Whether you agree with the above obvious facts or not, like the other facts you gave, I don’t see what that has to do with being comfortable with one’s sexuality.

I also suspect that if only same sex marriage was allowed, you might still believe that we are all equal under that law, but would probably disagree that such a law should still stand. And if that was the case, I’m sure you would still be comfortable with your sexuality if you wanted opposite sex marriage.

  14. Mostly I would guess that while you write most of the articles Bruce is the author that is actually articulate in a governmentally and fiscally conservative. Meanwhile, while you just ramble in an inarticulate manner about issues that are socially conservative but not particularly supportive of homosexuals.
