Does Obama Think the Nation Can Get a Book Deal to Cover Its Debts (as he covered his)?

May 17, 2009 by GayPatriotWest

Via Twitter, Patrick Ruffini reminds us that back in 2000, Barack Obama had had trouble renting a car for the 2000 Democratic National Convention because “his credit card was maxed out.”

Looks like he’s basing his budgetary policy on his past personal finances.   Wonder if the country can get a book deal, like he did, to get out of the debt he’s accumulating.

With just a few tens of trillion in sales, that should be able to restore sound budgeting.   But, it would take everyone on the planet buying books at the rate I do to cover generate sales like that.

Most polititians wander through their lives the fake way. They don’t really do the regular kind of work that allows one to prosper and secure their families. Look at the Clintons. Now Obama has all the answers. If it weren’t for the book sales and Michelle getting a fake job making $300,000 a year they’d be getting foreclosed on. But instead of touting the results of American hardwork, people like the Obamas and Clintons are forced to rail against American greed. Wonder why? Out of guilt. None of em earned what they have. Obama spoting suggestions like a preacher about how to succeed is a joke. A fantasy.

Maybe if his new book sells as many copies as chairman mao’s red book we might have a winner to help fix the American economy.

Yeah, right, Matt. Obama would “share the wealth” when it’s his. We’d be lucky if he even paid taxes on it. He IS a Democrat, doncha know.

And how many of our spouses would suddenly triple their salaries because we got a new job as well? Michelle was making $100,000 which tripled after her husband won the dem primary for US Senator of Illinois, for such indespensible work, that when she left the position, with the hospital, the hospital just reorganized that position out of existence and gave the ‘work’ and ‘duties’ to some flack. I know, who could ever have replaced Michelle and her unique experience? I mean lowly Moses could be replaced as leader of the Hebrews, by Joshua, but M.O.? No those high heels were much too large to fill. Better to just erect a monument to Michelle and ax the position so that no successor would ever be embarrassed by their failures to live up to the standard set by Michelle Obama.
Anyway, having tripled one’s salary and having one’s husband’s ghost written book (by Ayers) become a best seller after the Axelrod speech at the 2004 Democrat Convention, and getting a gift of a loan and deal from Rezko and his pals, why I’m sure that is a sure fire way we can lift ourselves out of the 9 TRILLION in debt Obama now wants to put us through (and much much more debt if either his cap and trade and/or commie health care system gets passed). We even now learn that the words spoken by Pres. Obama, about the supposed TWO TRILLION dollars in supposed savings by health care organizations over the next decade was, if not a bald face lie by the Obama Administration (gee where are those guardians of the media when democrat presidents make such brazen lies?) then a serious misstatement of what the AHA and its members agreed to (to continue to cut costs so that possibly by the end of ten years it will have accomplished a 1.5 percent cut in spending increases-NOT as Obama falsely claimed a 1.5 percent cut in the rate of spending EVERY year for the next TEN years.) But Mr. Obama, as an Affirmative Action President, will never be held to his words, or his character, he will only be admired by the left wing media for the color of his skin which excuses everything he does or doesn’t do.

#4 – Eaglewingz08, good points. One word of critical advice – break up that long paragraph and it makes better reading.
