A Typical Bush Critic

In an article on former President George W. Bush’s speech in Michigan, AP Reporter James Prichard asked Mark Brewer, chairman of the state Democratic Party, for his reaction.   And this representative of the political party of the Governor of his state, the state with “the highest jobless rate” in the nation sounded a lot like some of our critics:

“I think it takes a lot of gall for him to come into Michigan without acknowledging the damage that his policies have done to the state,” Brewer said. He did not offer any specifics.

Typical of so many Bush critics, fault him without specifying what he did wrong.

  1. That’s because he can’t offer specifics, but he can’t acknowledge to absolute and total failure of liberalism that’s made Michigan the asshole of the U.S.

  2. Because there ARE no specifics, the same with the rest of the Democrat party. They blame the economy on Bush but when you ask them how, the best they can do is claim he deregulated everything, but ask them what he deregulated and the best they can come up with is a regulation that was removed under Bill Clinton.

They know damn well the community reinvestment act, the Democrat corruption at Fannie and Freddy, and that parties filibustering of Republican attempts to reform those institutions caused the housing crisis and the financial crisis.

Hell, Barney Frank even admitted it unwittingly by condemning, on video, practices that he spearheaded, on video, before the crisis hit.

  3. oh my. you still don’t get it. you repugnant republicans were swept out of power in a LANDSLIDE because you just don’t get it. You’re going to stay in the minority for a generation because you just don’t get it.

Listing the specifics would take all day, but even if I spent that time, you’d argue because you just don’t get it.

It’s going to be a LONG, LONG decade for you.

  4. In other words. BNL is saying “I don’t have any specifics either, but I don’t let that stop me.”

  5. Buckeyenutlover must vote Democrat- like Brewer, he didn’t give a single specific. That’s what liberals and Democrats like to do- they like to say “there are so many reasons why conservatives and Republicans are bad that I’m can’t name a single one” and then don’t name a single reason. Also, look how buckeyenutlover justifies his viewpoint- “I won and you lost and so I now can do whatever I want to you”- the typical argument made by tyrants and dictators around the world. Saddam used to win elections in a landslide and then say eveyone was against him- it was a long, long time that he was in power in Iraq too.

  7. Bush’s mistake in Michigan, not getting Democrat support….was because he didn’t send tax money from WV, TN and ID to bail out the most corrupt urban govenment, Detroit, outside of New Orleans. Bush’s mistake was not counteracting 8 years of total Democrat state government in Michigan. It takes balls to run a once prosperous state into the ground and look for some boogie man to blame. If the elected officals of Michigan are so inept and incompetent to blame all their horrific problems on someone else, why didn’t they run for office saying “elect me, I can’t do anything about our challenges anyway”.
It is typical of liberal Democrats to not be able to list any reasons why Bush harmed Michigan. Whine away but give no specifics. Isn’t there any one with any intellect in that party? Dummies and boobs.

  8. 49 other states (no word on states 50-57) weren’t in recession during the entire Bush presidency…but I suppose as one of the guys responsible for Granholm, Kilpatrick, etc he can’t very well admit he screwed up.

  9. BNL – you’re right. I don’t get it so please help me out.

Since you can’t point to a specific Bush policy that managed to put Michigan where it is, can you tell me one specific action that Obama has taken to fix Michigan’s (or any other state’s) problem?

  10. in a LANDSLIDE

And that’s something else you need to back up. About 60 MILLION Americans voted AGAINST Il Douche.

  11. And let’s not forget which party told Florida and Michigan to burn in hell during primary season.

  12. And in other news, bnl has agreed to accept prop 8 in California and Ohio’s DOMA because of the ,a href=http://www.gallup.com/poll/118378/Majority-Americans-Continue-Oppose-Gay-Marriage.aspx>LANDSLIDE of support

  14. Oh and the current Democrat Governor of Michigan, Granholm, who ran the state into the ground for the past 8 years……is so smart and competent, she was one of Obamateleprompters finalists for the Supreme Court. Boobs, and morons. FOUR MORE YEARS!!!
