If it was a romantic evening he wanted to give her, they could have spent the night in the Lincoln bedroom. The descendant of a liberated slave spending the night with her husband in the bedroom of the emancipator, his ghost would smile in approval. The news reader then quickly mentioned that Arabs and Muslims are beginning to get impatient. Obama is in over his head and his silence (his "listening") is stalling. If he thought he had a pronouncement of any merit, he'd be all over television with it. While he tries to figure out what to do (between basketball, golf, firing up the Gulfstreams, eating burgers with his buddies -- and all the logistics of making it appear to the public that he's just having a blast and that we're all having a vicarious blast), the world turns. If Socialism and collectiveism worked, the USSR would be alive and prospering. Obama is using old rusty solutions to new challenges.
