And I thought Obama was more intellectually curious than W

It appears President Obama has to step up his reading pace if he wants to beat his predecessor in one particular measure: how many books a president can polish off a year.

  1. and Bush is slightly dyslexic. So, like me, reading can take some concentration. That is partly why GWB gave short speeches.
And curse you for making me go through Huffpo and it’s morons for the link. :-P

  2. The Huffington Plaigerism? C’mon. These are the same lame-brained sonsofbitches who think that a Hussein-al-Qaeda link = Hussein – 9/11 link.

Besides, Chairman O’s too busy reading “How to Violate Anti-Trust Laws & the Constitution (with an obedient media) For Dummies”.

  3. Obama can appoint an Intellectually Curious Czar and have him read books for him.

Reading books for yourself takes time away from organizing the community. And when the community is the United States and the whole planet, time is of the essence. There is barely room enough for a political junket or a date night. I read that our planet is slipping farther away from the sun. Now Obama not only has to keep the oceans from rising, he has to work a fix on this sun distance crisis.

  4. You do realize that the mole next to his left nostril is a USB port, don’t you? Or have they gotten to you too…?

  5. #4 – “You do realize that the mole next to his left nostril is a USB port, don’t you?”

Really? I thought it was a result of some kind of STD after being in bed with the entire MSNBC network.

    Sorry, couldn’t resist. ;-)

Waiting for hysterical libtroll explosions in 3…2…1…

  7. I thought Oamateleprompter knew everything already. You know, how to run a bank, how to run a car company, how to treat terrorists, how to run a prison, how to……

  8. what Presidents read and don’t read is one of those things that doesn’t matter a whole lot. Carter is said to read 800 pages of government papers everyday. I don’t doubt it but he is still “histories greatest monster.” But for pure reading of books on the side I would guess Clinton out read both these men. But the Obama bots don’t like to admit to being less than him either.

  10. I read the comments on the other site and well, I need to clean my mouth out with soap and water cos I was calling them “f…wits” :( and other choice names like libtards but starting with an f :) . The little morons actually think that their boy wonder is governing the country rather than being a puppet on a string – George Soros perhaps?

They need to get real because from what I have read the big O has spent more time partying than any other incumbent in the White House, and he has been flying around the country wasting taxpayer dollars with his townhall appearances etc. etc.

The difference is that George understood what it means to be President and the big O wants to be El Presidante, Castro style.

BTW Peter, you had me laughing with your comments

  11. funny, not one comment about the claim that Bush read 100 books in a year….I can’t figure out if you folks truly believe that he read 100 books a year.

6: I’m sorry, in the stories I’ve seen/read on this incident, I’m still trying to find the parts where the President personally arranged for this information to go online.

  12. #11 – Kevvie, it’s already been proven that GWB was far more intelligent than the idiots on your side of the aisle and the State-Run Media gave him credit.

    Try again.

  13. #10 – Glad I keep you entertained, SA! I’ve found that laughter and liberals go together as well as pesticide and roaches.

They can’t stand to be laughed at, possibly because they’ve been laughed at all their lives.

  14. Obummer keeps making claims such as being a student of history, but everything that comes out of his mouth is such utter BS. If he reads any history books it is not in the slightest bit evident when you read his speeches. The latest effort from Cairo and France proves my point. The man does not have a clue. I do not believe that he is capable of reading anything. His brain might hurt too much if he did any reading.
