all that I read here about the left doesn’t surprise me as it springs, whether here in Australia, in the USA or anywhere, from a sense of unreality of the way the world simply works combined with a self-hatred complicated by an inflated ego and finished off with an envy of what others have achieved! here this mindset, while foaming at the mouth to divorce Australia from the last of what are only symbolic ties with England and its monarchy are, at the same time, only too eager to replace one colonial mental dependency with another via Al Gore and his global band of merry men!

Barney Frank didn’t want gay marriage to move fast 6 years ago. I don’t follow any party, only what a politician has done. Promises are meant to be broken. Gay marriage has been happening state by state without the help of Obama and his administration. It has been the hard work of all gay rights groups that is bringing CHANGE!

You mean like Chairman Obama and the State-run Media trying to force the economy into recovery by popular vote? Or is it like liberals telling us that, while the economy is booming, we’re in a depression? Or that we’re in a worse economy than the Great Depression, even though it hasn’t been as bad as 1982. Or maybe like Chairman Obama telling us he’ll have nothing to do with running Government Motors.

Yes, the loud criticism coming from Dan Savage, Cleve Jones, Jon Aravoisis, Pam Spaulding, etc against the president for his lack of progress on gay rights issues is all a figment of the Internet’s imagination.

All of whom have never once in their lives done anything other than exactly what the Obama Party told them to do and who have a track record a mile long of equivocating for anything and everything the Obama Party does.

Obama doesn’t need to worry about little lapdogs on leashes pretending to be tough. He knows that all he has to do is to pretend to walk away and they’ll be right back at his boots again, rolled over, begging for him to love them, they didn’t mean it, they really don’t expect him to do anything….

President Obama knows [gay marriage] is a political loser. So do gay activists.
So THAT’s why gay activists, working in partnership with memebrs of the clergy, just got gay marriage through the New Hampshire legislature and are waiting for the governor to sign off, to make what, 6 states with gay marriage, several by legislation? Because it’s a political loser.
You know, it’s a shame the gay activists aren’t listening to you on how to advance gay causes. We might have made real progress if we had stayed silent, like you praised Mary Cheney for doing. Imagine all the progress we’ve had made if we just stayed home and kept our mouths shut!

They will hypocritically maintain their silence.
