I was disappointed in 'Bewitched' because it was a different take on the 'remake' movie that I hoped would work. Though Agnes Moorehead completes the 'holy trinity' of redheads that I loved as a kid (Jill St John and Katherine Helmond were the others)

I was surprised at the pedigree of writers on the original Land of theLost series though. Too young to really remember it. Was pleasently surprised to see that the actress who played 'Holly' didn't get her life all ruined.

Undecided about seeing Land of the Lost. Saw Night At Museum II, great flick with Hank Azaria as wickedly funny pharoah wannabe. Up was great too.
As for HR Puffenstuff it reminded me of Charles Nelson Reilly in Lidsville with Butch Patrick in his adolescent phase, after the Munsters in a galaxy long ago and far away.

I remember the original "Land of the Lost" (I had a massive kid crush on Wesley Eure), and I agree with John R. above regarding the awful remake of "Bewitched." Maybe Hubby and I can catch it this weekend, right after we go see "My Life in Ruins" by Nia Vardalos.

Got to support the peeps, you know. ;-)

Regards,
Peter H.

If you tell me Will Ferrell did better here than in Bewitched, I will go see it. But he just ruined that other movie. They had the only person alive to play Sam and pull it off but most of the movie was about Ferrell being an ass. I did not think he was funny at all.

It was a good thing most of the cast was dead before the movie was made. They might have sued!

I loved Land of the Lost. I caught a few of the scenes while it played on sci fi channel. Yeah it was dumb but it was also enjoyable for a kid. Unlike Will Ferrell.

I saw somewhere, maybe Wikipedia, that they might make a movie or a remake (?) of Puffenstuff.

Guess I'm too young (1973) to remember that show. My older sister does though. I seem to vaguely remember to shows they did featuring puppets of politicians in the 80's. Fairly certain it wasn't DC Follies though I don't really remember too much about it. Seems like they were individual episodes about a year apart.
