Using Psychology To Save You From Yourself
Well this is a disturbing article from NPR:
[T]hat is exactly what Obama administration officials plan to do: By taking account of human psychology, they hope to save you from yourself.
This is the story of how obscure psychological research into human decision-making first revolutionized economics and now appears poised to remake the relationship between the government and its citizens.
I like a scary story now and then, but this one really is a bit much. So much for personal freedoms, why Big Daddy Government knows what’s good for us and will see to it that we like it – or else!

I heard this story during my evening commute last night. Left me very quiet and then recalled what a friend who relocated to montana from new hampshire, a red man from a blue state.
‘All are devotees of behavioral economics — a school of economic thought greatly influenced by psychological research — which argues that the human animal is hard-wired to make errors when it comes to decision-making, and therefore people need a little “nudge” to make decisions that are in their own best interests.’ — NPR
my friend uses the term SHEEPLE. . .Sheeple need that nudge.

Humm…A White Guy has to be promoting this agenda. Rhetorical Question – Why do White People always end up (need inherently) to believe such idiotic ideas. Are you guys from Europe hard wired to have to consider such stuff after you reach a certain level of income, education, success??? I still dont get it after all these years of being “acculturated” by the “White, Ethno-Centric Devils” at the University of California. Keep up the good work GPW.

I can’t see this going very far… like the neurosciences, a lot of research will stop short of anything that might hint at ideas that aren’t politically correct.

That’s interesting. The evidence was there that Chairman Obama would be a lousy leader, but nobody cared. The evidence is there that he is a walking disaster with the destruction of the US on his mind, yet nobody cares. He’s a failure and everybody’s so sure that they were right when they voted for him that they can’t or won’t see what they’ve done.
Evidently, flowery speeches from a teleprompter about how America sucks motivates people. It motivates them to do stupid things, but it motivates them.
