On the same day that Carrie Prejean was deposed under highly suspicious circumstances, her successor surprise, surprise stated marriage should be between a man and a woman. And to further run salt into gay marriage proponents’ wounds, Pres. Obama’s DoJ filed motion papers supporting strenuously the Defense of Marriage Act. But the Teflon President can rub his gay supporters raw like a bad s/m master, and they will chime on, yes, sir may I have another.

Am extremely saddened about the dethroning of Carrie Prejean. Here is a women who gave her opinion and stated what she believed, period. I wonder if the roles had been reversed and a pro gay marriage contestant had spoken her mind, the judge was opposed to it, had gotten on his blog and ranted and attacked her, the press crucified her and then finally the pageant committee dethroned her for taking a pro gay marriage stand, how would the gay community feel? ……..Oh wait, probably wouldn’t have happened….Shame on Perez Hilton, shame on Keith Lewis and shame on Shanna Mokler. Another true embarrasement to the gay community and it’s this type of behavior that continues to set back any progress on gay marriage..

I voted No on 8 (for Conservative reasons), and time and again, the folks who want me to support them on the issue prove to be people who need an American Emmanuel Goldstein. Time and time again.

A hint: Want to get people like me from the other political side to back some of your ideas (I don’t agree with every side and every view, but I listen and support as I see fit, and I’m an activist in the GOP — national and local)?

Start treating Policy Disagreements as policy disagreements, not as a chance to burn heretics (usually Republicans and Conservatives) at the Stake.

But as I’ve said here (and on my Blog) many, many times, the Left needs an Emmanual Goldstein like Linus needs his blanket. I have yet to see this theory disproven.

They got their pound of flesh, but Carrie Prejean won’t disappear. She will now have more time than ever to fight against gay marriage. Since they made it so personal with her – she won’t be leaving that arena any time soon.

They won the battle, but will probably lose the war.

I listened to Carrie Prejean’s interview on the Hannity radio show on Thursday. She said she is consulting an attorney (Chuck LeMandry) and had not decided what course she would take.

She said that Miss California USA Director Keith Lewis has had it in for her and that he wanted her to attend a showing of a documentary promoting gay marriage at the Sundance Film Festival. Prejean refused and was fired for not fulfilling her contract and The Donald agreed.

Apparently, this Keith Lewis is a gay activist who strongly favors gay marriage. She also ran afoul of the co-director of the California USA unit. This woman was a former Playmate and tried to steer Prejean into posing for Playboy. Her name is Shanna Mokler and she is on record as favoring gay marriage. Apparently, Prejean spoke at her church about upholding her values and Mokler saw that as an unauthorized appearance of Miss USA.

It is fairly clear to me that Carrie Prejean has taken a hatchet in the back of the head for being politically incorrect. The Sundance thing is a tidy Catch-22 that gave her the rope to hang herself.

Obviously, the Donald does not rescue twice. Gay militants=1; traditionalists=0.
