When election season’s over and your candidate takes office, you won’t be disappointed to find that you just voted for a fantastic image, an illusion really, drawn from the imagination of your chosen candidate to appeal to your childish hopes.

…Unless you’re Andrew Sullivan. (Who manages to do it with candidates of both parties. Man, does that guy need a Daddy.)

One of the many reasons I didn’t vote for Obama was his association with anti-gay pastors. Also, I believed “the rumors” and I suspected his self-hatred would color his decisions. Did other people not think this would happen?

P.S. Why isn’t the pro-outing contingent outing Obama? There’s a much evidence for him as there has been for their other targets.
