Iranian Protestor’s Message to Obama & the World

June 22, 2009 by GayPatriotWest

“Don’t Leave Us Alone“:

Americans, European Union, international community, this government is not definitely — is definitely not elected by the majority of Iranians. So it’s illegal. Do not recognize it. Stop trading with them. Impose much more sanctions against them. My message…to the international community, especially I’m addressing President Obama directly – how can a government that doesn’t recognize its people’s rights and represses them brutally and mercilessly have nuclear activities? This government is a huge threat to global peace. Will a wise man give a sharp dagger to an insane person? We need your help international community. Don’t leave us alone.

“In Iran the demand for democracy is strong and broad … The regime in Tehran must heed the democratic demands of the Iranian people, or lose its last claim to legitimacy.”

Here’s the thing–if we don’t do anything, and the regime stays in power, then Obama will be forced to negotiate with an Iranian government most Iranians think is illegtimate. He will be seen as having allowed this illegitimate government to stay in power against the obvious will of the protesting Iranians. I really don’t want our government to negotiate with a government which is not clearly elected by the will of the people.

Of course, Ashpenaz, regardless of what you or I might like, Obama will be happy to negotiate with whoever is in power–much as Jimmy Carter never met a dictator he didn’t praise and “discuss PEACE” with. Expect more of the same from Obama.

    Read this:

This is huge because what the Expediency Council is seeking (read Rafsanjani) is to remove the position of Supreme Leader and replace it with something else. If this gets full agreement then Khamenei will be out, and Ahmadinejad will be out as well.

The most revered of all Ayatollahs is Sistani, and with very good reason. The Expediency Council has been talking with his representative.

It would be very wrong for your government and mine to deal with the present Iranian regime. Ahmadinejad was not elected as President. He was defeated. The people are protesting because they know the truth. They want a better model for government.

Mousavi, Khatami, Kharoubi and Rafsanjani are the most unlikely characters to bring about this change (at least on the surface). All of them were involved in the 1979 revolution. In fact they were leaders of the Revolution in 1979. They wrote the rulebook for the Revolution. They deserve to be criticized for past actions but these men have become once again the face of the people.

Even with the nuclear issue, I can see change ahead. They want nuclear energy and are less likely to want to build a bomb. Also, they are less likely to fund both Hamas and Hezbollah, because these thugs have been operating inside of Iran killing their people. There is no way that the people of Iran will support the funding of these terrorists in the future.

It is up to the American people to push that no hoper you have as President to not deal with the present regime. They are considered to be illegitimate by the people of Iran.
