Is Barack Obama to Politics what Ben Affleck is to Movies?
This thought occurs in the wake of the ratings bust of the Obama health care infomercial.
Both looked good in their early performances before a national audience (Obama in his 2004 speech to the Democratic National Convention, Affleck in supporting roles in Dazed and Confused, Good Will Hunting and Shakespeare in Love). But, only when each became a leading man did we realize how limited was his clout at the box office.
And when they reached the pinnacle of their careers, one man’s governing skills while the other’s acting skills were founding lacking, so much lacking.

He’s become overexposed, so people don’t want to watch him anymore even if they like him.

oh, you’re grasping at straws and it’s so sad to see you demean yourself. It’s going to be a LONG, LONG decade for you.

Sadly, I can boycot Affleck movies because they suck, but I live in America, and Obama is making that suck more every day.

Don’t forget both of them are frauds.

I wouldn’t know Ben Affleck if he sat down in front of me and introduced himself. I can not find even a scintilla of respect for Barack Obama. He is not really Presidential, but he plays one on TV. What more do I need to know about Ben Affleck?

You know, maybe instead of dropping schoolyard taunts or whining about how terrible Bush was, could any of you lefties enlighten me as to what the Teleprompter Messiah has done that’s so wonderful? From where I sit, all he’s done is run up the national debt at three times the rate of any previous president, nationalized industries like banking and automobiles and set his sights on health care and energy as well. Meanwhile, he passively encourages America’s enemies to be more aggressive.
Is all that stuff just teh awesome to you guys? Or, is there some greatness that he possesses that makes up for all the bumbling incompetence and balls-to-the-wall socialism?

#14: “…could any of you lefties enlighten me as to what the Teleprompter Messiah has done that’s so wonderful?”
They can’t, V the K, and the Obamessiah isn’t making that any easier for them. He’s completely screwed them on the gay “rights” issues–even they know how stupid they sound pulling out the “yeah, but he’s still better for gays than a Republican” argument because this is the second time a President promised them the moon and delivered NOTHING.
Also, did you notice how the little-letter dopes parroted the MSM by heralding Obama’s initial statements about Iran as “measured” and “pragmatic,” but then disappeared when Obama made statements that they had praised him for NOT making just days before?
And you certainly aren’t going to see them on GP praising the virtues of cap-and-trade because no one can defend it. Seriously, who, other than the vile politicians supporting it, are out there trying to build public support for it? At least with universal healthcare, you see press on the Soros-backed, paid “demonstrators” in favor of the Obamacare plan. But where is the public support for cap-and-trade OUTSIDE Congress? Even Greenpeace has condemned it (albeit from the angle that it “doesn’t go far enough”). WHO thinks this is a good idea?!
