I was sooooo hoping someone would ask that.

I saw MARY STUART and got autographs from both stars, Harriet Walter and Janet McTeer. Both ladies were gracious and friendly. Miss McTeer is as gorgeous in person as she is on stage or screen. *sigh*

Jackson’s passing is sad, but there so many other things that deserve much, much more attention. Jackson had been on the road to self-destruction for decades.

I completely understand the recognition of talent and discipline and wanting to honor a life whose success has personal significance. What I don’t understand is leaving flowers, etc. at impromptu shrines that become garbage for others to dispose. Littering is a pet peeve of mine.

For the fourth time since I moved to LA, I trekked up to Hollywood Boulevard to honor a legend who had recently passed by laying flowers on his star on the Walk of Fame.

I *so* don’t get that. (Veneration of stars.) No offense intended.
