The primary difference between Sarah Palin & Barack Obama

July 2, 2009 by GayPatriotWest

Well, there are many.  You know, like her actually having executive experience before she appeared on the national stage–and actually taking on corruption in her party.  Ace identifies another one–perhaps the one which prevented her from looking as good in interviews during the fall campaign as he did:

As I said ten times during the campaign, Barack Obama is just Sarah Palin plus six months of briefing books and town halls.

Given how quickly she had to master the questions facing candidates on the national ticket while campaigning for the Republican ticket, while nursing an infant, while raising children, that she had so many fewer gaffes than her rival for the Vice Presidency, who had far more time to prepare is simply amazing.

Not to mention that those questions were coming at her from an incredibly hostile media.

I think the other big difference is Sarah has actually held real jobs.

I agree about the briefing books points, but Palin would have been grilled mercilessly by the press while Obama skated past them with his teleprompter trainer wheels.

Don’t forget ‘being challenged and attacked by the media’: http://www.newsy.com/videos/vanity_fair_on_palin_what_s_it_all_mean Perhaps the liberal Palin fetish will pass, perhaps not. I like her, but I don’t think she would be our best candidate for 2012.

I think another big difference is that Sarah knows how to tell the truth and in fact does. Barrack on the other hand proves time and time again what a consummate liar he is.

Not six months, it’s plus two years of briefing books. And Palin didn’t get the powder puff questions of Obama and Biden. Gee, Obama, how do all those nasty and false things that the republicans say about you make you feel? How does it feel to be lied about? What’s your favorite color?

the real difference between President Obama and Governor Palin is education. He’s a Columbia undergrad and Harvard law school grad. She went to five universities in six years, eventually earning a journalism degree from Idaho. Yep, that prestigious Harvard-of-the-west. She will NEVER have any chance of a national office due to her average intelligence and mediocre education. No one, save for the 20% still identifying themselves as republicans, will ever consider her for a higher office as they don’t find her credible in any way, shape or form. That’s the real reason independents surged to Obama; rightfully so.

Given that standard buckey…most of our Presidents wouldn’t be President…like Harry S. Truman who only graduated high school and is ranked as one our best Presidents ever…or say Ronald Wilson Reagan who graduated from Eureka College…..

but then again, given the tenor of your comments, I won’t have to worry about you ever being President.

Even Nobama admitted it took him months of briefing books to get up to speed…..I say Sarah Palin more then did fine given zero notice and she cleaned Biden’s clock in the debates……It is my dearest and fondest hopes as I have said since the 2008 Presidential Election that Sarah Palin is elected the next President of the United States and without doubt she has the Executive skills, people skills, intelligence and ability to be the President of the United States in the manner of Ronald Wilson Reagan and I will trust her any day of the week compared to the Marxist that occupies the White House as our first Marxist President.

Hey, sockeyednumbnut, how about pulling up some of the masterpieces Obama wrote while at Occidental College, Columbia University and Harvard or when he edited the law review. Certainly a man who bounced from college to college and made it to magna cum laude and editing the law review wrote some powerful stuff that impressed the instructors and mentors.

Ooops!!! It seems he didn’t write much of anything. He just voted present. So, if we have only his “record” to go on, where do we go for his record? Well, strangely enough, they are all sealed. So, how about all those who stepped forward and attest to what a brilliant student they remember him to be? (Crickets.) So, where do we go for his record? Why, his two autobiographies, of course. How very transparent. How very convenient. How very definitive.
