Put simply, the Stimulus is a money laundering operation to borrow money, launder it through the unions (and ACORN) and put it in the coffers of the Democrat Party.

Then again we warned — the Australian who served as PM in the 90′s (Paul Keating) was amazed that Obama picked Geitner since the man completely misdiagnosed thus providing the wrong prescription for the Asia/Pacific crisis in the 90′s. He feels the downturn was extended by nearly a decade because of the solutions imposed.

The Pope shows us that a conservative point of view can still let us care for the least of these in our society. We can work for an affordable public option for health care and still live as ethical capitalists.

Have to disagree, V the K. The Administration isn’t delusional and neither is Geithner. Geithner is a vile, lying scumbag trying to buy more time for the Administration to enslave us all before the evidence of this collision course we are on lands on even the most ardent liberals’ heads like a ton of bricks. The Obama Administration is the most dishonest and incompetent administration in history. It’s his supporters that are delusional.

Any statement the Obama team makes about the economy is nothing but a tool to try and manipulate approval ratings. It’s really fascinating this bizarro-world press offensive that is 180 degrees out from what everyone, even Obama arch-partisans, can see is actually happening.

The fact that Geithner’s statement just went by without the entire room either howling with laughter or gasping at his obscene rebuke of reality just further proves that the GOP has been criminally deficient in representing our interests against these dangerous, powerful elitists. If the Republicans we have sent to Washington had been doing their job during the past two decades, a clown like Geithner would be filling out 1040s at an H&R Block in a Reseda strip mall–not occupying the top post at the US Treasury. The only thing more shocking than the statement itself is the fact that Geithner is clearly unconcerned that there will be any political or media blow-back in response to such a pathetic, obvious lie. And why would he worry about it?! I HOPE someone from the GOP has the guts to unequivocally condemn Geithner as a worthless, propagandizing marionette of the Left, but we certainly haven’t sent the message to our representatives that they are at risk of losing their jobs if they don’t. Our representatives in the GOP don’t fear us. They fear the liberal media. And as long as we continue to let them coast along without challenging the Left in uncertain words and deeds, then we deserve exactly what we’re getting.

By the way, in case anyone is less than mortified by Geithner’s arrogant prerogative to say things like this with impunity in the US, just to compound the horror, check out the clip linked below in which Congressman Joe Pitts (R-PA) exposes the dirty little secret that the American media ignored: while giving a speech at a university in China, Geithner argued that American debt was still a safe investment and the audience laughed at him. That’s right. People in communist China are now LAUGHING at us when the head of our Treasury Department suggests that the American economy is rock-solid.

This is serious. I can’t believe we have gotten to the point where a government bureaucrat can peddle this kind of snake oil and we have to just “wait and see” if there are any adults left in the GOP to unapologetically call for his immediate resignation. Geithner is precisely the kind of elitist, liberal royalty that the Founding Fathers despised and they gave “The People” the tools and constitutional protections to ridicule these clowns and drive them out of DC in shame and infamy. Haven’t we arrived at a place where we have nothing to lose? What on Earth do we have to gain by allowing our representatives to continue paying such deference to their “esteemed colleagues across the aisle.”
