  5. FWIW, Obama did not “throw like a girl.”* If he did, he wouldn’t have made it half-way to the plate. I’ve tried having catch with someone who couldn’t throw. Even though he had the strength to throw it about 55 feet (which is about how far Obama threw the pitch), he didn’t have the mechanics to throw it as far as 20 feet.

    Yes, the throw was horrible, and Bush clearly throws the ball quite well.

    Anyway, more importantly, Mariano Rivera knew how to throw the ball in the 9th inning for another All-Star game save.

    *Most girls I grew up with did not “throw like a girl.”
