President Obama returned from the latest leg of his America-Bashing tour quite a while ago, so my apologies right off the bat for taking so long to get this map updated. Also, the site I usually use to make the map is flaky for some reason, so I’m back to this more boring map till I figure out what’s up with that. I’m sure by the time Obama next travels overseas, it’ll be up and running.
First off, Turkey. Yes, I know you’ll say he didn’t go to Turkey on this trip. But a commentor noted on my most recent post that I’d left that off from his trip back in April. Your diligent blogger, I went back and checked out his speech to the Turkish Parliament, and found this passage:
The United States is still working through some of our own darker periods. Facing the Washington monument that I spoke of is a memorial to Abraham Lincoln, the man who freed those who were enslaved even after Washington led our Revolution. And our country still struggles with the legacy of our past treatment of Native Americans.
With that housekeeping taken care of, on to his Russia/Italy/Ghana trip:
In Russia, The One had this to say about the end of the Cold War:
Make no mistake: this change did not come from any one nation alone. The Cold War reached a conclusion because of the actions of many nations over many years, and because the people of Russia and Eastern Europe stood up and decided that its end would be peaceful.
While not exactly a bash of the US, when combined with his oft-repeated trope that “[b]y no means is America perfect”, it’s simply another unnecessarily self-deprecating cowtow. It counts in my book.
As for Italy, all I could find was this press conference he held in L’Aquila. While he does air some dirty laundry in response to a question about our current health-care debate, I didn’t find anything that rises to actual bashing of America. If somebody knows of something, please let me know via the comments section. But as for now, he gets a pass for that nation.
In Africa, the president visited the nation of Ghana where he said in a speech in Accra:
Yes, a colonial map that made little sense bred conflict, and the West has often approached Africa as a patron, rather than a partner.*
Here he faults not only the US, but the entire civilized world, apparently. And:
In my country, African-Americans — including so many recent immigrants — have thrived in every sector of society. We have done so despite a difficult past, and we have drawn strength from our African heritage.
…because you cannot speak of America in Africa without mentioning our ugly past. Give the president some slack, of course, because what’s he supposed to say, huh? Obviously, Ghana goes on the list.
Which brings our total (pending something I missed in Italy) to a whopping 11 nations (excluding his “alleged” 😉 own) from which the president has shown his contempt for the United States:
Canada
Great Britain
France
Saudi Arabia
Mexico
Trinidad and Tobago
Egypt
Germany
Turkey
Russia
Ghana

*I’ll have more to say about this and other things in this speech in an upcoming post.
Thank you for the quote from Turkey.
It puts the lie to the ‘he’s only apologizing for Booooosh’ mem spouted by some.
You beat me to the punch, Livewire. The quotes do give lie to the “he’s only apologizing for Boooooooosh!” talking point that some of our dimwit leftist trolls repeat like retarded parrots.
Great job on this Nick
Basically the President is the Dixie Chicks with a bigger airplane. But hey, those made-up Western/American errors won’t apologize for themselves.
http://tinyurl.com/ksDixieChix
Geez – he’s not even halfway done. But I suppose that, what with destroying what’s left of what was already a shaky economy, soaking his cronies in cash, and stoking resentments in a increasingly restive population, he’s got a full plate.
Never fear – there’s still 3.5 years to go so he’s got plenty of time.
VtK – don’t be so hard on parrots. Their brains aren’t much bigger than a couple of peas so they’ve got a good excuse.
We can’t expect the Dear Teleprompter to apologize for the United States in all 2,112 world countries… just like in 2008, we couldn’t expect him to campaign in all 57 states.
He has a lot more to do, especially in Latin America. He has to apologize to Venezuela for our imperialism. Then to Evo Morales in Bolivia for the ambassador who was fomenting a coup and also for the poverty caused by the failed program to cultivate crops other than coca. He needs to apologize to Danny Ortega for our part in the regime change that threw him out of power he enjoyed during the 80´s. He is determind to make the U.S loved. I couldn´t care less who loves or hates us, as long as they respect us. Respect is what he is losing for us. The world recognizes a fool when they see one.
Excellent post.
I love the blog about the American bashing tour!!! Kudos! I also have to say that now we are facing a vote of the new “hate crimes” legislation. If this thing gets passed, as part of the defense bill, this would surely bring about a major amount of damage to our constitutional right of free speech. What I detest so very much about this legislation is; that they so eloquently “appear” to cater to the Gay community; but even Gays would and could be a victim of the back blast to our free speech amendment.
That is Obama slick; in your face slick. He and his regime would like you to believe that he is on your side, but in actuality any good that he could provide the people will come at an even greater cost. We have to band together to stop “Obamislation” (Legislation by Obama). What do you think about this matter?
Patriotism doesn’t mean kissing America’s ass. It means that you understand the true United States, its past and present, and loving it despite its flaws. The quotes you put up don’t strike me as unpatriotic; in fact, it’s his understanding of the United States as a sometimes detrimental factor in world affairs (and sometimes in our own) that makes me believe he understands this country better than many of those Americans who are trying to shout him down.
I believe that through an understanding of our place in the world and mutual respect with other countries, even those we disagree with (excluding those that do not merit that respect, such as North Korea), we can be a better, more responsible world power, rather than one that places its dominance before anything else.
That said, I do believe that the United States is a world leader; however, leading through example is a stronger, wiser way than leading through bullying and aggression. The world is easier to influence when it doesn’t hate us, hahaha.
Except North Korea. They need a boot in the ass.
Anyway, my point is that I’ve seen many of these extremely far-right blogs/”news” reports/opinion festivals, and they’re always the same: Every one of screams that Obama is insulting or somehow lowering the US’s status in the world through his modest approach to foreign policy, and then tons of people back that person up with comments that put down his supporters and wrap up with a nice little hatestorm. The only variation I see is in how sarcasm is applied.
I don’t even know why I comment… here I am fighting a little imaginary war of wills against people obviously stolidly set in their thoughts in some obscure corner of the internet where my opponent has a huge numerical advantage.
But those are my thoughts.
A gay “conservative”?
It’s a double dose of hell for you, son.
American Born? He says he traveled to Pakistan in the 1980s. If so what passport did he use? Not american because Americans could not travel to Pakistan then. If he used a British passport then it would give date of birth, place of birth thus his citizenship. If Indonesian passport then he would have been a citizen of Indonesia as was his adopted father who and where he was schooled and basiccally raised. He was not a British citizen. Seems a look at these simple documents would setttle the whole mess. For me I think he is NOT an American citizen.
I mean dear savior of course (Obomanation)
If you were looking for Bashing in Italy, here it is:
Obama said in a statement in Italy this month that the U.S. had “sometimes fallen short” of its responsibilities in controlling its carbon emissions.
The above is in the article about HILLARY IN INDIA, DEFENDING HER “DEMAND FOR TERROR FIGHTING ” ALLIES. STRONGER Statement about this than OB.
So our President, whom is loved worldwide, for speaking truth to power, and has reconciled the wrath and disdain that other countries have felt towards us, particulary because the prior President, had sewn these seeds , by refusing to live up to the ideals and standards written into our Constitution, and treating other nations with a “it’s my way or the highway” foreign policy exemplified by a “you’re either with us or against us” mentality that left little room for compromise on global issues, now comes under attack by you because he doesn’t sugarcoat historical facts to your likings? Just as most GOP loyalists refuse to acknowledge their culpability in straying from conservative characteristics and ideals, sucumbing to the fanatical neocon agenda in their base, which disseminated the core principles of a healthy economic engine, and neglect exemplifying virtue in most dealings with the current economic climate in any healthful and stealthful cooperative manner, so must I conclude that the author’s goal is to package our officials wih tidy soundbites that represent not hard truths, but linguistic idealisms in a colloquial manner more pleasing and in harmony with a forcefed national superiority complex, rather than an honest approach to a no-nonsense 21st Century instant information age.
So, let me get this straight. You pick apart speeches and isolate the parts where he says negative things about the country- regardless of whether or not what he says is TRUE- and bitch about it? Awesome. That’s a totally intelligent, rational and balanced way to look at the issue. Ignore those parts where he criticizes anti-American sentiment. After all, they’d get in the way of your delusion that a man that dedicated his life to working in the politics of America secretly hates it.
Guys, honestly- there are legitimate reasons to find fault with our president. Use those. THINK, please. No one is served by this kind of garbage- it isn’t fair and it isn’t even honest. You can’t isolate parts of a speech then pretend that’s all that was said. If you’re going to do that, why not just find where he used the words “I” “am” “a” and “nazi” and claim he admitted to being a nazi? It would be EXACTLY as honest as this.
Funny thing is I’m not even a democrat- but I can’t take you conservatives seriously because of things like this. I mean is this really the best you can do? If it is, well, you’re wrong.
America needs more than one party that makes sense. Right now it’s only got one. Please, on behalf of the nation, work on fixing your half. Because, whether you like it or not, it’s broken. If you care for the country, put your money where your mouth is and do something about it besides playing dishonest word games. Make your case rationally and honestly. Don’t let blowhards and fools take your party and represent you with ugliness and ignorance. Elevate your party above this kind of crap- or it will die. Take your pick. At this point, it doesn’t matter much to any of us- maybe you can change that. But it’s not going to be by attacking mindlessly and refusing to acknowledge you have a problem (just like you apparently refuse to acknowledge America has problems). It’s going to be by admitting there are issues and working on them. Maybe then I’ll consider trusting a Republican.
Okay, I’m done. You can ignore my points now and respond with sarcasm and “But dems are bad because of these things!” and refuse to deal with what I said. I’ve seen how these things go down.
And that’s the way it was-Walter Cronkite
When will we hear the uproar about Obama bashing America? I resent his Muslim sympathies.
Deep inside lives a Muslim!
first, i find it incredibly confusing that those who purport to love america the most and wave their flags the most vigorously are also those who are the quickest to criticize the use of the first amendment. the founders of our country encouraged dissent and criticism. they felt that paying lip service to tired platitudes of greatness would ultimately serve no one and that critical thinking by everyone–including politicians and the press–would be of benefit to all.
second, i am curious as to how america is supposed to improve anything about itself if the president is not allowed to admit that it has shortcomings. bush felt that it was inexcusable to allow women to obtain certain types of health services and wanted to promote what he called a “culture of life”. admitting that this “culture of life” had not been a priority in the past and wanted to do better. why, then, is obama bashing america when he speaks of our past and how he too feels we could have done better?
and finally, i can think of no other way to demonstrate a love for america and its institutions than to become a scholar of the constitution. and this is what obama did, in law school. you may not agree with the conclusions he has drawn from his study of this document, but to go to one of the most expensive law schools in the country and study not corporate law or some other profitable enterprise, but instead focus on the constitution, is to me, one of the best expressions of patriotism i can think of.
ahhhh…to be young with no direction. I can almost remember what it was like.
Like you wasting your life on petty comments like “America is not perfect.”
Perfection doesn’t exist anywhere on earth. Definately not anything associated with mankind.
Get philosophical about life, sheesh. That is such a ridiculous, petty way to look for reasons to hate somebody.
The world needs more love, so why do you want to be something the world needs less of?
Life is not perfect. America is not perfect. Every decision by every president since the birth of America wasn’t perfect.
So one of them has the eyes to notice this and the humbleness to admit it. I thought Bush being so humble was a big draw for the conservative mind.
Obama is like Humble Large.
I know what your saying though, American exceptionalism, but it hasn’t actually “gained” America anything but big egos. It doesn’t put food on our tables or fix our economy.
It’s not necessary to feel “exceptional” to live as a productive American. People are just going to think how they think so learn to live with your neighbors, humble or ego-driven.
Love thy neighbor as thyself. Politics is a man-made ideology that says:
“Hate thy neighbor as thy hate thy own shortcomings.”
hehe you gotta admit, you didn’t think you would see the word “thy” today when you got up, did you?
Hey Patriot, ask yourself one question. Are these statements true or false? Did peace come to Europe as a result of America’s ‘super power’? Has the west not appraoched Africa as a Patron not as a partner? For one, I believe that giving Africa handouts is not the way to help them. They have the resources; help them with leadership and my tax dollars won’t go to feed the greed of their dictators!
But back to the issue, all these statements are true! Are you true to your conscience and your readers?
Gee. Don’t you just love when people sit around watchdogging every breath those darn gays take, interpreting every minute aspect of their lives as anti-American and perverted?
Don’t you think it’s time you quit pretending to be watching Obama with any kind of objectivity? Maybe come out of the closet as an “I HATE OBAMA AND I’M GOING TO MAKE SURE HIS EVERY MOVE IS INTERPRETED AS NASTILY AS POSSIBLE BECAUSE I HAVE NO LIFE AND CERTAINLY NO SYMPATHY FOR BLANKET GENERALITIES BEING HELD AGAINST OTHERS” advocate instead of any kind of rational blogger?
do just like get off on being wrong and watching all the people point it out to you? Do you even have any readers who take you seriously or is this secretly a pro-Obama site where everyone can get off their outrage at the state of perpetual ignorance by allowing them yours laid out so openly?
So, the lefties come and rally around their little bronze god and offer the sniveling “you’re taking little parts of his speeches out of context” defense… as though these few sentences are the only time ever the Dear Leader has shown his contempt for America. When, in fact, they are part of a pattern that’s been true throughout his adult life:
– Being mentored by America-haters of the first order like Bill Ayers and Jeremiah Wright.
– Proclaiming in his books that “White man’s greed runs a world in need.”
– Not wearing an American flag lapel pin during the campaign and not respecting the pledge of allegiance during the campaign.
– His chummy bonhomie with America-haters like Chavez, Ortega, and Ahmadinejad since becoming president.
– His wife’s comments that “America is a downright mean” place, and she was never proud of her country until Obama became the Democrat frontrunner.
– And most of all, the central theme of his campaign that America is a flawed nation, and therefore has to “CHANGE” to suit his vision of what she should be.
Ironically, it is the littleletterpeople and brainwashed Obamamoonies who have to isolate these statements from the full context of BO’s life in order to defend them.
I was wondering at the bumper crop of sock puppets in this thread.
“Patriotism doesn’t mean kissing America’s ass. It means that you understand the true United States, its past and present, and loving it despite its flaws.”; “regardless of whether or not what he says is TRUE”; “i am curious as to how america is supposed to improve anything about itself if the president is not allowed to admit that it has shortcomings”; etc, etc, etc…
Well, identifying flaws and shortcomings — and calling them “true”, and suggesting they are healing in nature, for everybody — is all well and good, the point is that neither the Apologizer-in-Chief nor the leaders of the countries he visits (whether allies or — former or current — adversaries) feel the need to RECIPROCATE (for instance, by reciting THEIR flaws — or at least a couple or so of them).
Indeed, foreigners do not seem to have any flaws at all. The Apologizer-in-Chief seems determined to call all and everything “extraordinary” — maybe, patriotism for him means kissing everybody else’s ass (and not a single leftist has a problem with this) — calling all and everything “extraordinary”, that is, with the notable exception of his predecessors’, i.e., his own nation’s, foreign policy (and much of the internal policies as well).

Gay Patriot, let this post fill you in about Obama’s first visit to France:
http://no-pasaran.blogspot.com/2009/04/there-has-been-arrogance-and-elites.html
More to the point is what happened during his second Germany and France visits, both related to World War II — especially the latter visit, where the Apologizer-in-Chief, fresh from his symbolic Dresden visit (that you did not hear about in American media — see hyperlink below), felt it necessary to apologize, however faintly, for America’s actions during World War II (!) and that, during a military ceremony for the dead of D-Day at Omaha Beach (!)

http://no-pasaran.blogspot.com/2009/06/along-with-faint-apology-for-wwii-come.html
While we’re at it, let’s hear what the leftists have to say about the effect that “what is nothing more than Obama’s healing and truthful (sic) speeches” have had abroad, notably in Central and Eastern Europe…
http://no-pasaran.blogspot.com/2009/07/letter-to-obama-from-central-europe.html
(The dream of Obama more of a nightmare, in the views of the likes of Vaclav Havel and Lech Walesa? It would seem so…)
Oh, and by the way, speaking of America’s flaws and shortcomings (they are all “TRUE!” we are told):
http://no-pasaran.blogspot.com/2009/07/toon-o-last-decade.html
Ace linked Nick’s post… but Ace is a conservative site, so is it possible that insecure lefties obsessively hang on that blog’s every word also?
Yes, indeed. It was called “World War 1”, “World War 2” and “The Cold War”. Google them sometime.
Oh, the poor little lefties … someone’s criticizing your glorious messiah! Oh no, can’t have any of that pesky “speaking truth to power” stuff, can we? I mean, it’s not like you spent the last eight years shoving the whole idea of “dissent is patriotic” down our throats. Nosirree, I guess that never happened.
Just curious, are there any quotes from Obama expressing respect, admiration, and appreciation for the good and greatness of America?
#19: kristina wrote bush felt that it was inexcusable to allow women to obtain certain types of health services and wanted to promote what he called a “culture of life”.
What certain types of health services would that be? Ummm – abortion on demand? And a “culture of life”? Appalling, isn’t it. Just wait until women with metastatic breast cancer get told by the Obmaa health bureaucracy that the treatments they want aren’t on Barry’s list of “best practices” and get referred to a doctor who will help them “die with dignity”.
Yup – we need all presidents to run round the world telling various tyrants and loons what an awful lot we are.
Meanwhile, in Iran… it’s illegal to execute young girls who are virgins. So prison guards “marry” them on the eve of their execution and rape them. Voila – no longer virgins so execution isn’t a problem.

Sorry about the typos in my earlier post.
Obama a constitutional scholar?!?!?!?! That’s rich. If Bush used the Constitution as toilet paper, Obama doesn’t even seem to know it even exists. There is no constitutional authority for anything on Obama’s agenda.
…go to one of the most expensive law schools in the country and study not corporate law or some other profitable enterprise, but instead focus on the constitution, is to me, one of the best expressions of patriotism i can think of.
I’m sorry, but, well BFD. The best expression of patriotism I can think of does not involve hanging out with people who loathe this country and who actively work to destroy it.
Peculiar how often a liberal’s altruistic motives make him/her fabulously wealthy.
Obama is a wealthy man (helped, no doubt, by his wife’s $300K+ no-show job that was created, pure coincidence, right after he was elected to the senate.
yawn. it’s going to be a LONG, LONG decade for the repugnant republicans. Is this all you can bitch about? What shrill shills you are. Pathetic.
Indeed, buckeye; the more incompetent Obama and the Obama Party show themselves to be, the longer and longer Republicans will be in power.
Yesterday, for instance, Barack Obama screamed that the United States was to blame for China’s emissions and that US manufacturers and consumers should be forced to pay to make up for them.
It’s no surprise all you can do is repeat slogans, buckeye; your incompetent Obama is showing himself to be exactly what you were warned he was during the campaign. You fell for his lies.
You know something that’s even more entertaining, is that all those Obamaphiles who reflexively defend anything he says clearly haven’t even read the speeches.
As a sociological experiment, I purposefully refrained from mentioning that, at one point in his Ghana speech, the president actually gives credit to his predecessor:
I wondered if any of the lurkers to our site would, having themselves read the speech, called me out on it as an example of how maybe Obama wasn’t all about bashing the US (which would have been a typical strawman for them, but that’s beside the point).
Clearly none of the people who have so far commented here are even familiar with the references (even though I included links to them in my original post) in question, so therefore likely are arguing from a position of ignorance in the first place.
You’d think those rushing to his defense would be more aware of what the criticism (and the entirety of his side of the argument) is.
Kinda puts it in perspective, don’t you think?
@ilovecapitalism: i hate to break it to you about WWI, but “peace” did not come to europe because of America. it didn’t come to europe at all, in fact, since WWI wasn’t even over for twenty years when Hitler invaded poland. wikipedia is not really a great source for nuanced information about an event as complicated as WWI. just so you know.
@coloradopatriot: if you read the comments carefully, i don’t think those of use taking issue with the characterization of obama were “defending” obama so much as questioning the use or validity of cherry-picking snippets from a speech, decrying any criticism of the US as america-bashing, and questioning the ultimate usefulness of american exceptionalism.
@eriks: no, many of these countries are not able or willing to self-criticize. or, perhaps if they do, they voice their self-doubt in languages that you don’t read or understand and the english-speaking press doesn’t bother to report on them. mousavi, for example, engaged in criticism of Iran and its policies. he is now under house arrest and his daughter was jailed. this is the penalty for free speech in many countries, even when this speech is uttered by a former president (yes, mousavi was at one time the president of iran.)
@socalrobert: abortion on demand is an interesting phrase. how else, exactly, am i supposed to get an abortion if i don’t demand it? should someone come door to door and offer it? or fill my inbox with spam? ah but as a man, you will never be in a position to ask yourself these questions or worry about these things so perhaps this is why such thoughts never occurred to you. i am interested on whether or not you think your wife should be able to “demand” an abortion if she found herself in the sad position of being raped. or even if she had an affair–would you raise the baby as your own? destroy the “sanctity of marriage” and divorce her? or just get an abortion and move on and heal?
but yes, abortion was a health service. another was the dispensation of morning after pills to rape victims if a rape victim had the misfortune of ending up in a catholic hospital. and the morning pill, FYI, is not an abortion. not, at least, according to the American Medical Association but i realize that tehre are politicians and activist judges who feel that they know better than doctors.
finally, there is much to criticize about obama. his failure to regulate the financial system so as to avoid another catastrophe. the fact that his cabinet contains many ex goldman sachs politicians. his contention that he should be able to detain “enemy combatants” indefinitely without writ of habeus corpus or even a charge filed against him, his failure to address the issue of gays serving in the military and the fact that he allowed yet another gay military man to be fired for his sexual orientation. this, at least, is something that i think that a so-called gay patriot should be concerned about.
we need at least TWO political parties to function well as a democracy. basing yours around the fact that obama didn’t wear a flag pin as a demonstration as his love for country, obsessive flag waving, clinging to the southern strategy, it’s not working guys. fix your party so the other one can become better.
kristina b:
Mousavi was never president of Iran, and while definitely targeted by his government he is not under house arrest. Please educate yourself.
And as for Iran, perhaps you’ll then join with me (since you have a problem with house arrest and protestors being killed) in admonishing our president for not more forcefully calling for an actual fair election in Iran and an actual democratic government.
Please don’t embarrass yourself by bringing up Mousavi and the Green Revolution in Iran in an argument about how Obama denies the exceptional nature of America. His outright failure to exercise the moral standing we as the beacon of liberty in this world have as a responsibility to display in this situation specifically is an embarrassment to all of us.
Perhaps someday a president will tour a free Iran and deliver a speech to their democratically-elected parliament apologizing for Obama having sat on the fence when people died for liberty.

Obama (FOC-Friend of Chavez) was soft in his initial comment about the attacks on th demonstrators in Iran, after all Ahmadinejad is an ally of Chavez. Yet he was quick to join with Chavez and Ortega in the condemnation of the process by which Chavez´s puppet, Mel Zelaya, was removed from office. He violated the Constitution, thumbed his nose at the Supreme Court and had the audacity to saÿ, ¨some people don´t want to try something new,¨ meaning 21st century socialism or old fashion marxism. As my professor of modern history, Dr. John Lukasz, used to say, ¨all isms are wasms.¨
I love how pretentiously kristina b blathers, when she clearly knows very little. 🙂
(and thinks carefully about what he/she/it knows, even less)
kristina – my “wife” is not likely to ever need an abortion as he doesn’t have a womb. That’s likely to be the case with many of the folks that comment here. 😉
Abortion on demand means exactly that: abortion for any reason (or no reason at all). Myself, I don’t favor a ban on abortion but it is what it is. And I certainly don’t think that anyone should be compelled to perform a medical procedure that violates their ethical code. Do you think a doctor or nurse should be compelled to, say, perform lethal injections even if capital punishment violates their ethical code?
One more thing, Obama is right (so far) to maintain detentions of enemy combatants. The reason for taking prisoners in a war is not to hold them for trial; it’s to remove them from the battle field until the conflict is resolved. Summary execution is the alternative.
I agree that we need two competing parties (ideologies). As it is, we have one. The Democrats favor a fast-track to statism while the GOP wants a slower pace to statism-lite.
lol again….
Point, counterpoint, point, counterpoint, it’s tough to beat an idiot, because they never know when they’re beaten.
It’s been fun. To all the “crazy leftist obamaphiles” who tried to give their viewpoints on the subject, thank you for trying, but take my advice when I say you shouldn’t try to sway the mind of an endangered elephant.
Besides, the Republic party is just a tiny angry voice in the back of America’s mind right now.
this, at least, is something that i think that a so-called gay patriot should be concerned about.
Why? Nowhere in your screed do you state that Barack Obama is wrong for doing those things. Don’t you believe that he is? Or is it still a racist hate crime to criticize the Messiah in your mind?
basing yours around the fact that obama didn’t wear a flag pin as a demonstration as his love for country, obsessive flag waving, clinging to the southern strategy, it’s not working guys. fix your party so the other one can become better.
Ah yes, the “Republicans are all racists” meme. The problem is that we know full well what both kristina b and Barack Obama consider to be racial enlightenment.
White and Kinney both testified Kilpatrick used the F-word in describing them while urging his security detail to get them off the porch. They said the mayor also made racial remarks about her and White.
“You’re a black woman,” Kinney quoted the mayor as telling her. “You should be ashamed of yourself being with a man with the last name white. You should not be a part of this.”
White is white. Kinney and Kilpatrick are black.
And of course, this Kilpatrick is fully endorsed and supported by Barack Obama.
Besides, the Republic party is just a tiny angry voice in the back of America’s mind right now.
Which is why, of course, the desperate leftist astroturfers like yourself are trying so hard to attack them.
For some odd reason, you can’t proclaim the miraculous works of your Messiah; all you can do is attack and try to tear down those who make your Messiah look bad. Why, you’d almost think your Messiah’s pronouncement that American consumers and manufacturers should be forced to pay more to cover the cost of China’s emissions wasn’t popular or something.
Oh I love how these people just love their abortions. The quick fix to everything now isn’t it. This ahole has us paying for heartache all around the world now. Early and born alive just kill them, we can’t be punished with a baby now can we. Don’t worry about the long term pain and regret, oh and the guilt for doing something so careless with a human life that stays with you forever. It’s so funny that I have never ever heard any woman that has been raped worry about that abortion, nope not one. But Obama can go over and lie to the Pope about abortion and adoption and think no one will notice. When this guy is talking he is lying. Oh don’t give me the show me where bit either you know it and everybody else knows it. Yea America is a piece of crap, we’re so ugly and evil. Go tell our soldiers young and old that and see where it gets you. I want to know why you people live here if you hate so much. I for one love my country, I for one think it’s the greatest country on earth and you know what other countries think so too. Either you haven’t traveled much or you hang out with a bunch of haters anyway. Go back and study the real history and learn about real freedom, because this is not it. I have not heard about freedom and liberty from Obama, because he doesn’t believe in it. He wants control and our money period.
just get an abortion and move on and heal?
Yeah, especially if you’re a 26 year old guy who just knocked up a 13 year old girl and you want to take her to planned parenthood because you know they won’t report you for statutory rape.
Early and born alive just kill them, we can’t be punished with a baby now can we.
Dear Leader doesn’t want us punished with surviving elderly, either. “Gee, grandma, we *could* treat your liver disease, but that would cost a lot of money. Say, Remember when Edward G Robinson died in Soylent Green…? Well….”
Republicans a tiny angry voice? Angry no. Righteous indignation? Yes. It´s getting louder and poll numbers for Obama and Democrats prove that the voice is moving forward in the mind of America. By 2012 Democrats will be ancient history. Europe is moving to the right, Honduras has put chavismo in check. Left is becoming passe´.
Conservatives, and productive Americans of all stripes, are “angry” the way rape victims are “angry”. (I.e., very rightly so, and the perpetrator tries to get out of it by labeling their anger dismissively)
You say he is bad mouthing, but did you quote anything he said that wasn’t true. He isn’t badmouthing America, he is being honest and not putting the USA on a pedestal as a perfect country. Are you arrogant and stupid enough to believe our country is perfect? Give me a break. Our country IS NOT perfect and his acknowledging that is not bad mouthing our country. It’s nice to see a president that is willing to show the American people are capable of being humble and not the self righteous Imperialists most of the world sees us as. You are gay, am I right? do you have equal rights under the law? No you don’t, so this country is not perfect. It is still a work in progress.
