Incidentally, Barbara Bush had a wonderful epigram about Geraldine Ferraro in 1984 that is also apropos for Ma’am Boxer: “I can’t say what she is but it rhymes with rich.”

We had a most wonderful congressman in our district ….until an ACORN-like redistricting put him out of a job.
It is so gerrymandered now I doubt a Republican could even win…..last election none even tried.
As for BBoxer, she’s a known incompetent who lets her staff do all of her work.
But her re-election until she’s tired of it seems assured, sadly.
I know I’ll never vote for her, but I feel really outnumbered around here.

What struck me most was the tone and attitude Boxer pulls here. She’s posturing as the lord and boss of the testifiers, as if they are her cleaning crew. I’ve never allowed anyone to address me in such a demeaning way, and obviously Alford doesn’t stand for it, either. He, the General, and Boxer are PEERS in the great American experiment, each playing his own part. She is in NO position to talk down to anyone, least of all a Chamber of Commerce organization that ensures the market and growth environment that fattens government coffers and Boxer’s salary.

Is it possible that Senator Boxer is an honorary black? Maybe that is what makes it acceptable for Harry Alford to call her ma´´am. She might have worked hard for that.

The video with CEO of the Black Chamber of Commerce Alferd, should definitely be used as a commercial during her reelection campaign. I don`t know if it will do any good but I sent an e-mail to Michael Steele and the Republican Chair of California with that suggestion. Democrats are petrified of being labeled as racist. It`s time to take a chapter out of the Alinsky Rules for Radicals.

California is beyond the tipping point. There are simply too many who find freedom frightening, racist, irresponsible, politically incorrect, reactionary, religious, environmentally damaging, internationally shameful, etc.

Well, one would hope, but I don’t think I have that much faith in California voters at the moment. It would be nice, but I’m skeptical that it will make a huge difference with the folks who keep sending her back to Washington. I’d love to be proven wrong, though!

Of course, here I am writing from Nevada, where Harry Reid is very unpopular, but where it looks like he will still be re-elected mainly because the Republican party here is in shambles. There are no appealing statewide Republicans at the moment (the only one who shows much promise is the representative from my district, Dean Heller, and I have no idea if he has any interest in the Reid seat. Even so, he’d have to overcome a lot to defeat Reid.
