The Two Words Obama Can’t Seem To Say

I’M SORRY.

Remember how the Left howled at the same perceived stubbornness of George W. Bush?  Obama seems to have the same problem… if not worse.

He blames everyone else for his mistakes, and seems unwilling to change direction even when he is shown to be wrong (or flat-out lied).

So is Barack Obama the reincarnation of Jimmy Carter… or George W. Bush?

Time will tell.

  1. There’s a simple explanation for why Obama can’t say those two words. They haven’t been on the Teleprompter.

  2. Well said Sean A…funny that this blog post should appear. I just emailed a friend complaining about Obama being as stubborn as Bush but the press taking that stubborness as Obama having the wisdom of God. Obama is very stubborn and thinned skinned when it comes to any criticism and that has been obvious since his early news conferences as a candidate for President when he wouldn’t take criticism and ended news conferences quickly. Obama gives the same type of campaign stump speech answers in Press conferences but doesn’t have a clue about what he is talking about (witness the health care news conference)

My complaint with Bush is that he was not a fiscal conservative and it was his way or the highway. Obama makes Bush look like a small government penny pincher.

I mentioned to my friend that I admire Dick Cheney for standing up for his principles, doing the right thing and making sense. Whereas Obama in too many ways reminds me of Bush in enjoying the perks and fun of being President but not liking the hard details of the “ITS HARD WORK” Line often spoken by Bush.

At least Bush had the smarts to name Cheney as his VP……the Marxist in Chief…well two words and that is “Joe Biden”….Nobama and he deserve each other.

All I can say, is i PRAY that Sarah Palin is our next President of the United States….I just hope we don’t have to wait until 2016 to have that prayer answered.

  3. One big difference between Bush and Obama in the stubborness department – Bush never blamed others. As stubborn as he may have been when he was wrong, he never blamed anyone else, always saying it was his decision, for better or worse. That is the difference between having the courage of your convictions and just being another sleazy politician.

  4. Well, Robert beat me to it. The snob isn’t going to apologize for smearing “whitey”. Won’t work for whatever “cred” he has.

  6. I can think of SEVERAL pairs of words he should be screaming out loud.

    “I’m wrong”

    “I lied!”

The rest are “theme and variations” on the examples above.

I would say he’s the incarnation of what the left accused Bush of being.

  9. #8 Good point TGC, seems all of our liberal Democrat contributers were caught in one sting or another. hehe

  10. Here is the Minority Update. In light of the Institution of Slavery…everyone who can claim they are Black, get a free pass in the lying department – translation – no matter how much I cheat, lie and steal it will never make up for what “Whitey” did to people who may or may not be my ancestors. Take the same reasoing and apply it to the Left. No matter how much I cheat, lie or steal – it is because I am working so hard to right all the percieved “Wrongs” that Conservatives/Republicans/Who Ever has done me of the people I believe I represent wrong in the past. Its a perfect philosophical loop that allows me to do whatever the hell I want.

  12. #8: TGC, why on Earth would you assume that NJ Liberal was caught up in the corruption arrests in his home state? After all, ABC, CBS, and NBC did not mention the party affiliation of the 44 people arrested, so why would you assume that any Democrats are involved? Were you not listening when Wolf Blitzer of CNN clearly indicated that this is a bi-partisan scandal, with arrests of politicians in BOTH major parties? In fact, as it turns out only 43 of the 44 people arrested were Democrats, so it’s a bit cynical for you to just make assumptions about any New Jersey Democrat being involved. Shame on you!

  13. Of course President Obama can say he’s sorry — just not to his fellow citizens.

    Comment by Male of Gaiety and Pallor — July 26, 2009 @ 3:07 pm - July 26, 2009

  14. I see Obama saying “Let it be written! Let it be done!” long before “I’m sorry” or “I’m wrong”.

Of course “Sorry” doesn’t seem to be a problem when he’s apologizing on our behalf for being such an awful nation with such a dreadful history.

  16. Narcissist Personality Disorder. he can’t apoligize or admit he was wrong. That is a HUGE trait of NPD. He will completly destroy his presidency just to avoid admiting he was wrong.

Here’s hoping this topic he so desperatly wants to disappear, stays alive so he can do even more damage to himself.

    Very telling.

  19. Sean, if the NJ arrests were completely random, the party breakdown would probably still be about 43-1 Democrat. In most of the state, the only election that matters is the Democratic primary.
