So its Obama and the MSM keeping it alive now. Interesting.
How many posts have you had on it the past day or two?
The national review’s Andrew McCarthy is a tool of obama? Orly Taitz is on his payroll filing all these lawsuits?
Quite the conspiracy!
Perhaps you should make your tinfoil hat too!

well it is quite fun to watch. . .yeah, he did release that fake birth certificate from Orly Taitz. You are so right Dan. . .Keyes and Taitz working with Obama.
Comment by rusty — August 3, 2009 @ 11:54 pm - August 3, 2009
LOL…and the puppets of Obama perform, on cue.
Well-played, GPW, well-played. You wonder if there really is anything that Obama could do that gillie or rusty could criticize.
Comment by North Dallas Thirty — August 4, 2009 @ 12:40 am - August 4, 2009
Seems we have to spell everything out to our critics on the left.
If Obama releases his birth certificate, we’ll have evidence to prove what I — and many others — already believe–that Obama was born in the USA.
If that happens, many (but not all) of the birthers will shut up.
Left-wingers (and even some skeptical Republicans) won’t be able to blame the GOP for fanning the flames of this controversy.
They will not be able to use this issue to tar conservatives as extremists.
Gosh, I spent more time writing this comment than I did writing the post–did that in all of 1 minute when the thought occurred to me. Wish some of our critics were less focused on Republican flaws to see the possibility of their side playing hardball

Three or four. Meanwhile, the KOSholes have over a dozen since yesterday alone.
And how many polls did Dan commission in the past few days??? Go back under the bed, JAFO.

I don’t, because I know there isn’t. There’s a better chance that Tom Cruise would criticize Scientology.

get your bumper sticker. . .http://www.patriotdepot.com/obamaandgod.aspx
but . . .
Ironically, the ‘birther’ movement began in response to Obama’s own efforts to debunk rumors. One year ago this week(David Weigel 7/17/09 http://washingtonindependent.com/51489/birther-movement-picks-up-steam), the presidential campaign of then-Sen. Barack Obama launched FightTheSmears.com, a web site designed to push back against false rumors about the first African-American presidential nominee. To push back against rumors that he was not born in Hawaii, the campaign reproduced a Certificate of Live Birth from the state’s Health Department. Instead of terminating the conspiracy theories, that inspired new theories — that the certificate had been forged or that even if it hadn’t been forged it was the sort of certificate that could be given to someone born outside of the United States. But the certificate is specific about Obama’s birth in Honolulu, down to the 7:24 p.m. time.
“It’s crazy,” said Janice Okubo, director of communications for the Hawaii Department of Health. “I don’t think anything is ever going to satisfy them.”

I’m not at all surprised the Lefties don’t want to see the long copy. They’re afraid it will list a father, a hospital as the birth place instead of a stable, and nurses as delivery attendants instead of three wise men.

From the BBC News today:
So, now the game shifts to Dr. Chiyome Fukino saying she has seen the vital records and in her capacity of Director of the Hawaii Department of Health she declares Obama a natural born citizen. (More likely, the BBC has embellished her remarks.)
So much for the privacy right associated with the certificate of birth. However, Dr. Fukino does not state whether she examined the Certificate of Live Birth or a Certification of Live Birth. It was the latter that Obama’s crew obtained and released in 2007.
Clearly, Obama is playing a cat and mouse game with this fundamental document. If he has sworn to faithfully uphold to Constitution, he would authorize the release of the basic document and clear up all confusion. He took the cautionary action of having himself sworn into office a second time after Chief Justice Roberts flubbed up the oath.
Clearly, Obama is neither concerned with the quick settlement of this confusion nor particularly interested in establishing his bona fides. I can not see this as anything other than driving a wedge deeper. It flies in the face of working to “bring us together.” His actions are not those associated with a humble servant of the people. They are more in the “let them eat cake” school of condescending noblesse oblige.

#4 Bush did not bow to the crazy truthers by responding to their demands and open 9-11 records.
So why do you want Obama to give credibility to the birther’s zany demands?
Is it because they are exposing the conservative movement as a bunch of idiots? Or is it because they expose the dark underside of irrationality that lies in the roots of the conservative mindset?
Comment by gillie — August 4, 2009 @ 11:02 am - August 4, 2009
bingo Dan, with every policy issue that Obama is trying to foist on us, his numbers keep dropping.
Clinton’s numbers always rose when it looked like he was a vicitim.
This way O can stay permanent victim of those crazy people. Although it doesn’t seem to help much with those poll numbers.
Comment by Leah — August 4, 2009 @ 11:12 am - August 4, 2009
Actually, 9/11 Truthers are worse then “Birthers”.
There was an entire commission that laid out in painstakingly details the missteps of the Bush & Clinton Administrations in their lackluster efforts to stop bin Laden. The truth is there for all to see. I saw it first hand on 9/11/2001, in fact. Truthers are just conspiracy mongers.
“Birthers” do not yet have the facts and, to GPW’s point — there is a vacuum of information that has launched the rumor-mongering.
There is no such vacuum of information with 9/11. The only crime is that no one took accountability and the American people shrugged their shoulders.
PS – If we have done FOUR total posts on the Birth Certificate issue, I’d be shocked.
Comment by GayPatriot — August 4, 2009 @ 11:13 am - August 4, 2009
Another thing is, “birther” has become an all-purpose slam on anyone who wants to see the records President Transparency is paying hundreds of thousands of dollars to keep from the public; whether it’s his college transcripts, his admission records, his work with ACORN, or even the special interest groups he’s given access to the White House to.
The birth certificate is just one small element of a large pattern of deception, dishonesty, corruption, and failure to abide by the same transparency standard he holds others to.
Comment by V the K — August 4, 2009 @ 11:24 am - August 4, 2009
#15 – Agreed. It is more convenient for the Obamunists to classify all dissent and quest for transparency as crazy “Birthers”.
Right out of the Saul Alinsky playbook. Again.
Comment by Bruce (GayPatriot) — August 4, 2009 @ 11:56 am - August 4, 2009
Bush did not bow to the crazy truthers by responding to their demands and open 9-11 records.
What exactly was the 9/11 Commission, then? How about we do the same thing and have a government-sponsored commission paw through every record of Obama’s past?
Furthermore, gillie, according to polls, 35% of your Obama Party are “crazy Truthers”. Is that indicative of the complete and total irrationality of Barack Obama and his Obama Party?
Comment by North Dallas Thirty — August 4, 2009 @ 12:24 pm - August 4, 2009
And actually, if you look at that Rasmussen Poll I just quoted, 35% of Obama Party members believe “Bush knew” and allowed 9/11, and 26% are “not sure”.
So if we use the same math as the left, where “not sure” is combined with “hardcore birther”, a full 61% of Obama Party members like gillie are “crazy Truthers”.
Comment by North Dallas Thirty — August 4, 2009 @ 12:25 pm - August 4, 2009
Wow, did gillie ever get PWNED on that stupid remark.
Comment by V the K — August 4, 2009 @ 1:07 pm - August 4, 2009
I heard that Obama has spent three-quarters of a million dollars in fighting the release of his birth certificate. If that’s true, why?
Comment by Rosalie — August 4, 2009 @ 1:34 pm - August 4, 2009
Rosalie, the money that has been spent on hiding these details is more of a reason to doubt the idea that he was in fact born in Hawaii and that there is a cover up. It would have been better to release the full documentation and a lot of people who are not conspiracy theory people would be satisfied and would drop the matter.
There are a very few people who are pursuing this matter to a point that it is becoming long winded. If the records showed for sure that he was born in Hawaii and not Nairobi then a lot of people would be finally satisfied that the man might be eligible to hold the office of POTUS. However, there are other records e.g. his school and university records that remain hidden. Many claims are made about the man being brilliant but every time he opens his mouth without a teleprompter he tends to swallow both feet.
