Didn’t She Support a Presidential Candidate Whose Mantra Was Change?

Now, Ma’am Boxer crticizes those who want to “change Congress:”  Barbara Boxer Objects to Town Hall Protesters Attire, Says Protests Are Designed to Enact Change.

Guess, in her world view, only Democrats are allowed to promote change.

  1. You should consider not linking to things people can view and catch your prevaricating.

As she said, the people mobbing, disrupting, and threatening at the townhalls aren’t coming with valid (sometimes not even coherent) views on health care to share. All they care about (here is where the quote comes in) is hurting Obama and regaining power for the GOP.

Do you agree? Disagree? Perhaps you could make a post on what she actually said and respond to it. Just a suggestion.

(Extra credit: I wonder what she said after the video cut off. Funny how none of the right-wing editors who cut the video have any more of it… Perhaps you could research that?)

  2. Tell you what, torrent, find the rest of the video–and we’ll post it. And if she says that people like us have legitimate concerns, then I’ll praise her for saying as much.

Ok, since I’m linking something where people can catch me prevaricating, please show me where I’m lying.

Oh and, um, torrent, I did comment on what she actually said. Go check my previous posts. And please note where I address the comment about hurting Obama–since she seems to think it’s a bad thing to rally in order to hurt the President, I’m sure you can find ample examples of her taking her fellow partisans to task in the first eight years of the current decade for doing just that.

And finally, grow up, okay? If you’re going to spend so much time on this blog, at least acknowledge that we have serious concerns about the growing size of the federal government. Those people supposedly “mobbing” the town halls have legitimate concerns about how Obama’s proposed programs increase the size of government and limit our freedom.

So, the ball is in your court now, torrent, find video showing Ma’am Boxer acknowledging the legitimacy of conservative concerns.

  3. Threateninglol. Maybe to people accustomed to tame audiences and afraid of sharp language. That Boxer’s not even trying to hide how she and Gibbsy are reading from the same talking points makes it all the more hilarious when she describes these coordinated mobs.

Extra credit: Ma’am Boxer was speaking on Hardball, which would make it the longest 58 seconds Chris Matthews has ever let anyone speak without interrupting. Perhaps he let her go on another minute to explain how trying to change Congress would be a bad thing. I have my doubts.

    And that’s where she’s a liar.

Boxer has no way of knowing the motivation of every single person at these events. There are Obama Party members — apparently former ones now — who oppose Barack Obama’s healthcare nationalization Ponzi scheme and have said as much. She’s just making lies and smears, insisting that there is no valid reason whatsoever to criticize or oppose Obamacare.

But of course, what does her puppet torrentprime do? Accuse OTHER people of lying. Just like Boxer screams at the end about coordination and astroturfing through websites when her own party is doing exactly that. Both torrentprime and Boxer are complete and total hypocrites.

  5. Don’t forget this example of what Boxer and her Obama Party friends like Nancy Pelosi are calling swastika-wearing thugs.

  6. Independent analysis says CBO may have underestimated the cost of ObamaCare by about a Trillion dollars… Figures, they missed the cost of cash for clunkers by a factor of 200%.

The reason shills like TP are shrieking, “Eek! A Mob!” is because it’s easier to name call than answer questions about the impossible premise of ObamaCare: More health care, less money, no rationing.

  7. My brother, who is working on his PHD, at CSU, told me last night, “That people he knows whom voted for Obama, are starting to complain.” So, I don’t think this is what they claim it is.

  8. And let’s talk about why Barack Obama and his Obama Party are screaming and claiming that protestors are Nazis who are carrying swastikas to these town halls.

Your Barack Obama has no clue as to how stupid he is, torrentprime, and it’s becoming hilarious to watch.

  9. Sweet Jesus, TP! You just get more and more desperate. Your comments are like a train wreck. Pathetic and sad, but you just can’t help but watch.

Anybody else with a lick of common sense would have crawled back under the bed by now, but you just keep plugging away.

  10. Humm…change Congress? I cant imagine why the Senator whould believe that Congress needs an overhaul. Could it be the chant of tax, tax and more tax on the producers for all of the non-productive? Could it be the idiocy of Barney Frank and the mortgage meltdown? Could it be the way the Demotard Party is running California into the sewer with their excessive spending? I have an excellent idea for TP. Next year Democratic Voters can mark it on their 1040′s and then their politicians can tax their fellow Dems at a higher rate for their spending programs. Oh, I forgot, most of the Dems dont actually pay taxes since they dont have productive jobs.
