Oh wow, Paul, waiting until this scrolls on to page true to start your lies.

Good to know you support the Taliban and their policies (since you don't feel attacking Afganistan was needed).

Also good to know how ignorant of history you are. Under President Bush a lot was done.

Oh and the Haliburton meme? Wow. No wonder you tried to sneak this in. Your talking points are as dated and debunked as Piltdown man.

ThatGayConservative: It is very American to want to help our fellow countryman. I believe in my government especially our men and women in our military, firefighters and police. You, not so much. Lets face it the previous administration did nothing (except start two wars of choice that are bankrupting our country with all the “war profiteering” contracts to Halliburton) well you and I will just have to agree to not agree. I did not believe any of the Republican rhetoric before the last election and I do not believe them now. I do not believe that your sentiments are in line with the majority, but I did real enjoy your comments, good stuff.

The poor lying tantrum-throwing child Tano again is demonstrated to be wrong by facts and sources.

The authors based their conclusions on an analysis of the Tufts–New England Medical Center Cost-Effectiveness Analysis Registry. They concluded, "Although some preventive measures do save money, the vast majority reviewed in the health economics literature do not."

Wrote Elemendorf, "After reviewing hundreds of previous studies of preventive care, the authors report that slightly fewer than 20 percent of the services that were examined save money, while the rest add to costs."

And yet Tano and the black thug continue to lie to the American people, and when their lies are exposed, they shriek and scream about how people who confront them with facts are racist and un-American, and then they sicc their violent, racial-epithet throwing goons on them to beat them up.

Pure thuggery from a black thug.

Do that, and the system saves money, and doesnt waste any.

Get the government out of an industry it has NO Constitutional business being involved in and we'll save ass loads of money.

Its quite well known who this scummy character is, and his efforts for the teaparty mobs have also been well known.

Citation Needed

What makes you think that you can dismiss this simply by pointing to the fact that Rachel Maddow might have said it???

Because she irresponsibly reported it as proof. Just like lying sacks like YOU keep repeating it over and over and over, with ZERO evidence, hoping like hell people are stupid enough to swallow it.

It is not necessary to bus people to a rally, nor to pay them, in order to be an effective organizer of an event.

Then advise ACORN to stop.

make your base absolutely insanely intoxicated on vile red meat,

Sorta like when the POTUS stokes the fires of HATRED against capitalism and individual companies?

Or how about when ACORN and the SEIU BUSES in people to harrass private citizens at home?

Or how about when the POTUS attacks a Rush Limbaugh (a private citizen)?

Or how about when Harry Reid abuses his office sending a letter on Senate letterhead demanding Rush (a private citizen) be fired?

Or how about when liberals tell Americans that if they vote for Bush, he'll reinstate the draft?

Or how about when liberals tell Americans that if they vote for Republicans, more black churches will burn?

Or how about when liberal teachers force kids to watch Algore's film and teach them that their parents are responsible for drowning polar bears?

Or how about those Noah Wylie commercials pissing and whining about drowning polar bears?

Or how about all the promises 4 years ago that we'd have more and larger hurricanes from then on?

Or how about the liberal's insistence that Bush let New Orlenians drown?

I can go on providing more instances of liberals lying to play the fear and/or class card, if you want.

"the added costs of widespread use of preventive services tend to exceed the savings from averted illness.”

Well, lets look at the original paper in the NEJM that Elmendorf references:

"Studies have concluded that preventing illness can in some cases save money but in other cases can add to health care costs."

Oh, like when?

"For example, screening costs will exceed the savings from avoided treatment in cases in which only a very small fraction of the population would have become ill in the absence of preventive measures."

Well, isnt that a brilliant insight. If you make no effort whatsoever to target your therapies, then you are going to waste some money. That is not an argumetn against preventative care - it is an argument against irresponsible use of preventative care - one that I would agree with.

"Whether any preventive measure saves money or is a reasonable investment despite adding to costs depends entirely on the particular intervention and the specific population in question."

Well obviously. We should do the work necessary, in specific cases, to apply preventative, and any other kind of care, when it is needed, and not when it is not needed. Do that, and the system saves money, and doesnt waste any.

And remember how Tano blabbered that the Obama Party wasn't considering single-payer, that no one was talking about it, that there was no bill about it, that there would be no vote on it....

Flat-out lie, as usual.

He also got House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to agree to allow a full House vote on the single-payer reform that more than 85 House Democrats have endorsed.

Congressman Anthony Weiner, D-New York, worked with Waxman to get the deal on single-payer and declared a sort of victory Friday, saying that: “Single-payer is a better plan and now it is on center stage. Americans have a clear choice. Their Member of Congress will have a simpler, less expensive and smarter bill to choose. I am thrilled that the Speaker is giving us that choice.”

Can Barack Obama do anything but lie? Really, does this black thug think his skin color will insulate him from any responsibility for his pathological and constant lying about what his Obama Party and he are doing?

I tend to favor moderation in speech, and to give people the benefit of the doubt, but this goes way over the line.

Wrong. That is what Obama wants, and he and the Obama Party have made that fact abundantly clear time and again.

Meanwhile, Tano, your lies that "preventative care will save money" have been blown to tiny, tiny bits.

"Although different types of preventive care have different effects on spending, the evidence suggests that for most preventive services, expanded utilization leads to higher, not lower, medical spending overall," Elmendorf wrote. "That result may seem counterintuitive.

"For example, many observers point to cases in which a simple medical test, if given early enough, can reveal a condition that is treatable at a fraction of the cost of treating that same illness after it has progressed. In such cases, an ounce of prevention improves health and reduces spending — for that individual," Elmendorf wrote. "But when analyzing the effects of preventive care on total spending for health care, it is important to recognize that doctors do not know beforehand which patients are going to develop costly illnesses. To avert one case of acute illness, it is usually necessary to provide preventive care to many patients, most of whom would not have suffered that illness anyway. ... Researchers who have examined the effects of preventive care generally find that the added costs of widespread use of preventive services tend to exceed the savings from averted illness."

Going over this entire thread, I have noticed something. Time and again, you have made accusations, hurled suppositions, and insulted people, again without providing a single referenceable link.

In contrast, you have been answered with facts, logic, and referenceable links, as I just did above.

That demonstrates who are the adults dealing with facts here, and who is the ad hominem-flinging child.

Your Barack Obama is feeding you swill, which is no surprise; Obama has demonstrated nothing in his career other than a willingness to repeat left-wing dogma and push discredited leftist lies, counting on his skin color to protect him from any sort of responsibility or intellectual questioning.

This time, he has failed.

"because the revolting propaganda of the Glenn Becks and Rush Limbaughs and Rick Scotts has had its effect. Death boards, FEMA concentration camps, all this mindless crap - and yeah, the birther stuff too. Maybe for some of you it is all a game -trying to be as outrageous as you can be, because you have so little of interest and value in your life.
"Obama intends to remove all health insurance, nationalize the drug companies, and make it illegal to pay anyone to take care of you other than the Obama Party."

I tend to favor moderation in speech, and to give people the benefit of the doubt, but this goes way over the line.
You are an utterly dishonest liar.

Sorry Tano, but we already have proof of how you and Barack Obama plan to deal with people with serious illnesses.

One patient in Oregon got a letter that made this all too clear, when in the same letter rejecting her request for life-extending chemotherapy, Oregon offered her “physician-aid-in-dying”.

What saved this woman's life were private for-profit companies and individuals stepping in to help her obtain the medicines she needed. In order to prevent that from happening again, Obama intends to remove all health insurance, nationalize the drug companies, and make it illegal to pay anyone to take care of you other than the Obama Party.

Welfare liberals like yourself who contribute nothing worthwhile to society and who hate those like us who make your laziness obvious want us punished with higher taxes and for you to get more welfare checks. That's all this is about.

#33 - Tano, since you seem to be so clueless, let me let you in on a little secret: TGC deliberately misspelled Rachel Maddow's last name.

Why? Because she acts like a "mad cow." Sort of like you in this blog.

You're welcome.

Regards,
Peter H.

ThatGayConservative,

First off, her name is Maddow - you got the spelling wrong.
Secondly, she is not the source of this information, though she may have reported on it as well. Its quite well known who this scummy character is, and his efforts for the teaparty mobs have also been well known. He is out there publicly giving interviews, for goodness sakes.

What makes you think that you can dismiss this simply by pointing to the fact that Rachel Maddow might have said it??? Irrespective of your opinion of her, its seems pretty obvious that statements do not automatically become false merely because she states them.

Most grownups outside of our larger cities have automobiles. It is not necessary to bus people to a rally, nor to pay them, in order to be an effective organizer of an event.

Be clear on this. I dont doubt the sincerity of the teaparty people. THey are sincerely scared out of their minds - because the revolting propaganda of the Glenn Becks and Rush Limbaughs and Rick Scotts has had its effect. Death boards, FEMA concentration camps, all this mindless crap - and yeah, the birther stuff too. Maybe for some of you it is all a game -trying to be as outrageous as you can be, because you have so little of interest and value in your life. But lots of people actually believe this crap, or at least are scared by it.

So no, the organization of these rallies is not a case of busing in mercenaries, warm bodies to play act outrage. It is, rather, an example, on steroids, of the typical right-wing approach - make your base absolutely insanely intoxicated on vile red meat, then point them in the direction of an otherwise civil meeting, and tell them to 'let their voices (and no one elses) be heard.

Start with Richard Scott.

So to shore up your pathetic argument, your sad research led you to the pseudo-journalist Rachel Madcow who doesn't do any research of her own. From the Conservatives for Patient's Rights website:

Action Center

Sign the Petition Against Government-Run Healthcare

Let your voice be heard. Join thousands of others in standing up against a government takeover of healthcare in America and sign the petition now.

Contact Congress

Write a personal message to Congress to say no to government-run healthcare.

Write a Letter to the Editor

Let your local media know your thoughts on the current debate.

Host a Video Screening

If you are interested in hosting a screening of "End of Patients' Rights" please complete this form and someone will be in touch with you. You will receive a screening kit that includes the full video along with tools and resources.

Attend a Town Hall Meeting

Click here to view a list of Town Hall meetings with Members of Congress along with dates, times, and locations.

Then under the Town Hall meetings link:

This list is provided as a resource for our visitors. The information has been submitted to us from a variety of sources and has not been independently verified in all cases. Please contact the office of your representative or Senator to confirm meeting details.

If you know of other Congressional Town Hall events taking place this summer, please feel free to email us at info@cprights.org.

View the videos from the Congressional Town Hall meetings where constituents voice their concerns on healthcare reform.

Have you attended a Town Hall meeting? Here's what House Speaker Nancy Pelosi thinks of you.

As you can see, nothing about providing buses. Nothing about paying people. Not even instructions on what to do when you go to one of the meetings. Not even anything on the blog:

http://www.cprights.org/2009/07/town-hall-alert.php

Long story short, Tano, you're full of it. Just because that ignorant wretch Robert Gibbs throws names out there (because he saw it on Madcow) doesn't make it so. Try again. What other bullshit you got?

#30 You know, it would have been faster and easier to say something like "yeah, you're right."

I'm always ready to accept your accolades.

ThatGayConservative,
I guess it has never occurred to you that with every vulgarity, every scatalogical reference, every childish little name-calling, you decrease your likelihood of convincing anyone of anything, and in fact, increase the likelihood that you become an embarrassment to your own side.
If you think you actually have good arguments, why not simply make them - in a way that other people can actually read without their eyes rolling around constantly? If you realize that you dont have any good arguments, then why bother? What do you think you are accomplishing? Is it just for the venting?
