Our reader Leah will be hosting a barbecue for blog readers next Saturday, August 15 at her home in the Valley.  Rumor has it that frequent commenter ILoveCapitalism will be coming down from San Francisco just for this occasion.

  11. #10 – For those of you who aren’t from the South, the barbecue changes every 100 miles or so. Just like the cheeses in France.

    I’ll take Texas or Carolina BBQ any day (my mom was from Winston-Salem, NC). KC or Memphis just doesn’t do the trick.
