Please post the link for the full video to which the TV reporter refers…this is incredible…that representative either received no requests for 1:1 or he was lying…he never even asked if this man had asked for a 1:1 conference, which he had done! This meeting was open for “open questions” at the end…the constituent did nothing wrong. Dem David Scott needs Anger Management Classes or a prescription…will those be covered in the Health Care plan?

I wrote my Senator, Boxer about having meetings on healthcare in California and received a canned email back about her being “interested in my concerns.” It never addressed my question in the body of the email. So, I assume that Senators and Congressmen aren’t sincere in operating a government “of the people or by the people.” I also find it very interesting that a Black man – acting very “uncivil” shuts down dialogue (humm, it is soooo Southern Mannish) in a meeting of his constituents…and then fails to interact with the news media. Scratch a Black man and what do you find…an inner bigoted White man.

  5. Whoever David Scott is, he’s not a very savvy politician for screaming at his constituents. Who, sitting in that room watching that performance, no matter what they thought of him beforehand, would be inclined to vote for him again?

  6. When I called Sen. Boxer’s office in SF. I recieved the same answer as Duffy. I could not get past the canned propagandiia.

  7. The questioner in this video happens to be a doctor…AND a constituent of Rep. Scott. I find it very telling that Scott didn’t even know what the Dr. was referring to until his aide whispered in his ear.

    As some have already stated on this page, a lot of the anger/frustration is coming from voters and constituents who have tried writing or telephoning thier representatives with their concerns, only to be ignored or patronized. Enough is enough, the tipping point has been reached.

  8. Scott received quite a bit of support and applause during his performance. I wouldn’t expect Ward Churchill to start calling him a Little Obama and I doubt he’ll be losing his seat anytime soon.

    He starts off with a blatant lie. Every fr*ggin word that comes out of Democrats mouths is a lie, including “and” and “the”.

    They are on video declaring their commitment to sabotaging private health care to bring about single payer socialized health care, and they have the audacity to claim thats not what they want.

    We MUST beat these fascists!

  11. As a side note, I’ve always been interested in Obama’s change in speech whenever he is addressing different crowds. The “folks” and droppin’ he uses is very Showtime at the Apollo, yet get him a teleprompter and he sounds like a fancy lad. Oh here I found one link…
