Is Obama’s Wee-Wee Moment a Defining One?
While others have made much of the President’s use of the term, “wee-weed” up in the clip below, what struck me more than anything was how Mr. Obama has personalized the issue, as if it’s all about him winning.
(H/t Michelle).
Basically, this shows that he is not particularly good on defense. No wonder he references Sarah Palin. Her nomination threw him off (before the financial crisis bailed him out); she (all too briefly alas) stole his thunder. In the tw0-week window between the GOP convention and the Lehman Brothers collapse, his campaign was floundering and some wondered if his handlers could put “put the wheels back on.”
Here, he seems just as flustered and defensive as he did in the first two weeks of September.
One thing is clear, Sarah Palin really gets Barack Obama’s goat.

Everything is about him. He uses “I” and “me” interchangeably over and over. It’s not about us and the country because we suck and we’re too stupid.

Obama is not going to have a Lehman Brothers-magnitude disaster this September to bail him out–and if he does, it’ll be perceived as his fault. He’s on his own now.

I love how Sarah Palin is using FaceBook to get her message out. Unlike snobama who is using our money to spam us.

For his followers, it’s also about him. They don’t really care about the costs of the Obama Health Care plan, nor do they care about its details. As far as they’re concerned, it could cost $50 Trillion a year and cover only 4 people, and his glassy eyed cultists would still be shilling for it just for the sake of him winning and the hated Republicans losing.

This is UNBELIEVABLE! Obama is wagging his finger and scolding us for neglecting our moral obligation to support his government healthcare plan and continuing to lie about its provisions. Meanwhile, his Administration is proving that they can’t even be trusted to run the “Cash For Clunkers” rebate program! The Transportation Department has had to ask employees of the FAA’s air-traffic-control unit to help, the program has had to triple its staff, and employees are now working seven days a week (wonder what all that overtime is costing the American taxpayer?). Dealers were supposed to be paid the rebates within TEN days. Percentage of the rebates that have actually been paid? SEVEN!

I just hope that when Obamacare gets up and running there are enough FAA safety workers handy to help out processing claims when they get really “slammed.”

’some wondered if his handlers could put “put the wheels back on.”
Hilarious. “Some wondered…” You mean Hugh Hewitt??? You are such a joker.
But the analysis here does point to one of the inherent problems of blogging. The relentless focus on the day to day, the hour to hour, the minute to minute – it leads to a total loss of perspective.
Yeah, McCain got a rise in the polls after the convention. Its called a “convention bump”. Appointing a young vivacious woman to the ticket spurs momentary excitement. Then she opens her mouth in an unscripted moment, and its all over.
And from this you conclude he is not good on defense? Did it ever occur to you that maybe the fact that the GOP bump lasted less than two weeks indicates that he is very good on defense? (actually, I dont think his defensive skills were really tested – the GOP bump was just media buzz over Palin with no substance behind it). His defensive skills were certainly tested over many long months by Hillary, and he came off very well.
“Here, he seems just as flustered and defensive as he did in the first two weeks of September.”
Whistling past the graveyard it seems to me. Even giving you your interpretation, you should meditate on what happened after the first two weeks of September.

Yup, McCain decided to be an idiot and sabotaged his entire campaign by a) supporting an ill-conceived bailout and b) believing that the media would treat him fairly.
Meanwhile, Obama started making promise after promise about reducing taxes, ending corruption, no more pork, fewer abortions, cutting spending, cracking down on tax cheats — all of which conveniently went out the window the instant he was elected.
It wouldn’t surprise me if libbies would try to engineer another event, be it financial collapse, a terrorist attack, or whatever to take off the pressure on His Blackness. But for now, I’m merely watching people like his sockpuppet Tano beclown themselves by insisting that their token actually has a strategy other than to scream that anyone who opposes him is an immoral evil-mongering Nazi racist.

Since NDT didn’t link this, I will. Marine tells moonbat congressman, “If Nancy Pelosi Wants To Find A Swastika, Maybe She Should Look On The Sleeve Of Her Own Arm”.
The Marine also calls out the congressman for calling opponents of ObamaCare brownshirts. The congressman’s answer is priceless. “No, I did not. And I apologized for it.”
By the way, this Demonrat congresscreep really did call opponents of ObamaCare brownshirts.

As good as McCAin did post-convention, it makes me wonder how things would have turned out if the convention had nominated a Republican.

The reason Washington is getting “all wee weed up” is because Dear Leader is in deep doo doo.

I remember playing with my kids when they were little…they enjoyed it when I’d do the old “This little piggy went to market, this little piggy stayed home, this little piggy had roast beef, this little piggy had none…….and this little piggy went “wee wee wee” all the way home.
I’m suggesting our president used this term because he thinks his opponents are behaving like children throwing a tantrum.
Condescending and arrogant because “Daddy President knows best.”

For the first time ever, he doesn’t have a higher office to campaign for so he can duck his current responsibilities. Too bad he doesn’t have any leadership experience, because then he would know what to do other than “campaign”. He is going to turn into one bitter clinger to his past “accomplishments” of winning political offices, because he doesn’t/won’t have any other successful accomplishments to wrap his cocoon.

V, the Marine’s video rocks! He makes a great point that I (at least) have overlooked.
The Dear Leader talks about how his proposals will “let” us keep our current health care plans. That is of course a lie, because of the way his proposals will constrain and discourage suppliers. I’ve talked about that. But the very language of “letting” us do this or that is already, or in and of itself, a massive violation of everything America is supposed to stand for. America is supposed to be a place where government is the servant of the People, not their owner. The People *let* government do this or that; not government, the People. Anyone who thinks otherwise is ideologically in bed with fascism – that is, National Socialism – whether they care to admit it or not.

V the K, great video. Made my morning. Thanks.
P.S. I think Obama’s gonna have to cut Marine Corps funding from the budget. They’re instilling a lit-tle too much backbone in their guys. They COULD end up threatening the noble ACORNs, or even Obama’s well trained & well-funded civilian “defense” corps.

Has this reference to Obama’s goat got any connection to Ramadan and sacrifice? Or is it some thinly veiled reference to his race? Perhaps it is a code word for the vast right wing conspiracy mob to grab their guns and Bibles and meet at the tea bag assembly sight.
I beginning to get all wee-weed up about this goat thing. Please advise.

It seems the best Obama can do is call others names. He is too much of a coward to even be considered a good bully as he needs to get someone else to fight his battles for him with perhaps the incident of the court releasing the sealed divorce records of one of his opponents an indication that he is unable to face a political foe face to face.

It is pretty much all about Obama. His problem is, he has little idea how to get it. He talks pretty with his teleprompter, but, he has never been The Man in charge of anything. He has no idea what to do, and the people around him are too stuck in demonization to do anything else. Interestingly, this is exactly what those of us on the Right were telling the middle ground voters. Guess what? We were correct. Now we have to deal with a little under 3 1/2 years of a substandard version of jimmy Carter.
