Another Day, Another Democrat Insults Obamacare Opponents

August 24, 2009 by B. Daniel Blatt

Confirming a point we make all too frequently on this blog, echoed by one of our readers who commented, “the libs have no answer to logic, and many can only resort to name-calling, from relatively tame to vile,” Congressman Maxine Waters call some Senators “Neanderthals.”  Quite a contrast from her Senator and mine, Ma’am Barbara Boxer who thinks we’re too well-dressed to be sincere.

But, then again, Robin Givhan thinks our casual attire causes us to lose respect while one Congressman has called those protesting the President’s policies “brown shirts.” At least, this guy, unlike his colleagues, apologized.  And Speaker Pelosi calls us astroturfers bearing swastikas while Harry Reid thinks we’re “evil-mongers.”  (No wonder he trails a number of potential opponents in the Silver State.)

Gosh, guess this people didn’t get the Democratic Chief Executive’s message about the new era of postpartisan politics.

I went on Saturday to Rep. Jerry McNerny’s town hall in Pleasanton CA. Could not get in. I was not “registered” ahead of time to see my own congressman. This was a freaking disaster. We had two thousand people who were not allowed inside to see our representative. And this jerk thinks he’s gonna be re-elected? 2010 is coming real fast, and the people are outraged. REVOLUTION!!!!!! NOW.

John: my suggestion would be that you contact your “representative” and tell him that you are having a recall meeting at a certain place and certain time and if he shows up you will open it up to a forum of healthcare reform. If not, sign the petitions. Good Luck! I’m starting to hate these bastards more and more.

I found this site by accident, but bookmarked it to return. I’ve spent the better part of 2 hours reading, and will be back for more. I am a conservative, Christian, straight, independent voter who will be e-mailing this link to my gay and straight friends alike. I hope we are all welcome here, because this is a WONDERFUL site. Thank you for speaking out!!!!

As for this post, I spent 3 years in Sweden, under a social medical program. It was one of the worst experiences in my life. Long waits, under equipped hospitals and clinics, and under educated staff, made me a rabid opponet of this plan.

There was a post at Ace last night noting that if we the patriots hadn’t gotten loud and rowdy, our protests against ObamaCare would have been ignored completely.

The left really can’t stand having their own tactics used against them. The same crowd that was insisting that opposition to ObamaCare had to be “well-behaved” are the same people who buy bumper stickers reading “‘Well-behaved women rarely make history.”

As long as we don’t have to come up with our own answer to Scrotum-Inflating Man, V. Some things just aren’t worth it.

V, you are exactly right…the State-Run Media largely ignored the tea parties precisely because they were so civil. Had they been louder and more in-your-face, every media outlet would have run with the story.

They can no longer ignore the well-spring that has developed regarding opposition to health-care in particular, and government excess in general, that is plainly being repeated in ever-increasing numbers in every new poll that is released.
