If Bush had volunteered to go to Vietnam, then why wasn’t he sent in some other capacity? America was sending thousands upon thousands of soldiers to Vietnam at that time.

By the time Bush was in the guard in the early 70′s, combat operations in Vietnam were winding down. President Nixon was bringing troops home under his “Vietnamization” plan.

It’s easier to be a liberal if you are completely ignorant of history.
