What’s ironic is that the oh-so internet-savvy Obama camp failed to realize that more and more people read bloggers who manage to spend a few minutes doing the research that MSM only claims to do. The Obamarhoids put far too much faith in the ability of the MSM to keep this stuff under the rug.

I need to get out of the house this afternoon because the more I’m reading about Jones and his resignation (as the MSM catches up), the angrier I am becoming. The MSM is still reporting this by referring ONLY to the 2004 petition which Jones claims does not represent his views. None of the MSM news outlets are making any reference to Jones’s OTHER links to the truther movement (which prove he’s not only a truther, but a liar too). It’s like they are just taking Jones at his word with no follow-up to confirm whether or not he actually is a truther. Gateway Pundit found the flyer I referenced above on GOOGLE for God’s sake! But then again, why would they investigate any further? If they actually did their jobs and confirmed that Jones is a liar, it would make it difficult for them to report the story as Jones being a victim of the “lies and distortions” of the right-wing attack machine.

Mark Levin made an excellent point the other day (paraphrasing): Jones is a distraction so don’t lose focus. There was no failure in vetting – Obama and his team know exactly who they are appointing to these jobs. Jones got his job because he and Obama are on the same page ideologically; they are hardcore leftists/statists. Jones didn’t sneak in under the radar.

#22: Actually, NARNC60AC, Gateway Pundit found more evidence linking Jones to the Troooofer Movement–he was listed as an organizer for an SFO Trooooofer march in 2002. So, what this tells us is that Jones definitely IS a trooooooofer, but he was willing to flatly deny his own beliefs when confronted with only the petition he signed. That’s all you need to know to understand the “principles” of a leftist. The only person guilty of spreading lies and distortions here is Jones.
