Question in reviewing the comments…

Is gillie admitting that he opposes Clarence Thomas’ judgements based on his race? Or that he disagrees with Republicans because Michael Steele is the chairman of the GOP?

After all, if he refuses to accept the protests against big government are motivated by anything other than race, then surely his opposition to those august figures is motivated by his racism.

I’d ask gillie himself, but he’s already fled this thread.

I really don’t get the charge that Tax Day Protests or the Tea Parties were motivated by either personal animus or – pace Carter – Obama’s hue. I just don’t.

Can you imagine if Hillary Clinton or John Edwards had won instead? What? They take a second bite at the healthcare apple and we’d all just shrug and go home? Good grief.

Calling Obummer a liar is not racist because he is constantly lying about things especially when it comes to the monstrosity health proposal.

He has lied over several matters including the latest of his weeping tales and the WSJ called him out of those particular lies. In both cases the people entered into a contract for health insurance by deliberately giving misleading information. The woman failed to mention the heart murmer and she failed to mention that the skin specialist said she had a pre-cancerous condition (nothing to do with acne). The man also failed to reveal that he had a CT scan that showed he had gallstones. However in the man’s case Obummer’s lie goes further because:

1. he was not having chemotherapy – it was stem cell treatment for non-Hodgkins lymphoma.

2. the cover was restored and he had the treatment.

3. He died three and a half years later in January 2009.

Considering that the insurance company has the right to drop a policy holder who has told lies like both of these people did, then these cases do not prove a point….

However, Obummer in his latest speeches highlights the fact that the man died…. but he lies by not stating that his death was 3 and half years later…..

…. if only my sister had been allowed to live that long… and we live in a country with universal health coverage.
